Good point. I had forgotten about that.....like I try to forget about everything from Port Charles once B&E took over.

Okay someone has to put it out there: I didn't dislike the last J/A segment but it wasn't what I thought it was going to be. I think it could have been a more romantic scenario than "the train has to come back because of a problem and Jesse, unwillingly, gets spotted". (maybe I'm wrong, other boards are making it sound like Jesse purposely revealed himself?).

How about Jesse seeing Angie as the train pulls away and is unable to do it, so he jumps off and rushes to her? Or Angie actually jumps on the train? Or the train pulls away and then we see that Jesse had gotten off at some point because he couldn't do it?

I just don't like how, ultimately, it was because of mechanical problem on a train rather than Jesse's feelings. But I guess the bar was about to close (isn't that where B&E have admitted they write?) and they had to wrap up outlining the episode asap.

Hopefully someone else feels the same way or I'm going to look like a real whino. (Probably a bad time to mention I cringed during Angie's run down the platform/tracks, but I blame the director because DM is an acting goddess).

Only saw the last segment of scenes so far.

The song, the smoke, the setting, the running, the screaming. Awesome. I thought I was watching a kick a** soap for a minute. DM was perfect.

I do think the better impact of the train scene would have been Jesse seeing Angie running after the train and then jumping off as he's unable to turn away and unable to stop the train.

Oh Ryan, STFU! Its one thing for people to talk about sh-t they dont know, but dang he hasnt been around for 4 years and talking all kinds of crap. Seriously WTF did Zach do to him? Had he remembered their history, I would have understood his animosity but he doesnt. He knows nothing but the good that everyone has told him about Zach (and none of the bad) and he has been good with Ryan since his shooting. I guess I have to give it to the writers bc this is SOO much like the Ryan of 4 years ago that I absolutely hated

And Zach telling Ryan that he left Kendall pregnant with his child. Um thats not exactly how things happen and he knows it

Annie is only now telling Emma about Ryan's condition? Um its been days and Ryan lives with them? Wouldnt this have been handled already like the day Ryan woke up and didnt know who Emma was when she was next to him in bed? Stupid writers for not dealing with this earlier

I liked the Josh/Aidan scenes. I could see them as friends

Ugh, can we please move on from Jack/Erica?

My heart was breaking for Angie. That scene with her running after the train was so sad. Debbi hit it out of the ballpark

I haven't had a chance to say it Cheap but I really love your banner. Thorsten and Rebecca look great together. She is so pretty in that picture.

I can\t wait to see the episode. I am behind in my viewing, I was bored with the show at the beginning of the week again so haven't felt compelled to watch but now I will definitely atch up! The Jessie/Angie stuff sounds amazing.

Best soap ending in years...hands down...I have never experienced the joy that I did when Jesse appeared from behind the smoke.

Debbie killed that scene...when she was running, I was hoping that the train would stop and when it didn't...OMG!

I have to give AMC kudos for that ending and I never thought I would say that about AMC again, but they proved me wrong.

It was good but once she fell to the ground it was so bad. I thought her acting fell short. No pun intended. :P The ending with the smoke and Jesse appearing was good though. But thats the only thing good about AMC. The whole fashion show is a bust. And dont get me started on Ryan's idotic storyline. If you can call it a storyline.

    • It seems like they may have been going in one direction for Andre and then changed their mind. He had this player/bachelor thing going at first where he was messing with Dani, seemed to be feeling Eva, and then somehow smitten by bland Ashley of all people. I feel like Ashley was supposed to be the one that finally made him want to be with someone and settle. The way he talked her up in those earlier episodes was really confusing. The wonderful, amazing nurse Ashley and conveniently she's unattainable because she has a partner, but he can't stop thinking of her and takes these busted pics of her. It was a mess. However, it all seems to have been dropped. I honestly feel like Andre can go. That may be an unpopular opinion but I don't need his breathy final syllable to be content with BTG. It's always like "There's gotta be another wh-ahyy"
    • This is where McLaibey falls apart. It becomes clear that McTavish had not thought past Brent/Marion...so the energy drops and she starts throwing things at the wall (Blakes twins, Lonatrat.)   Fans HATED this funeral. Everyone is mad at everyone else, which is fine, the death of a beloved community figure would give people a reason to come together...(Quint and Nola could come together at least for  a bit to support each other, Nola and VAn could finally admit they kinda, sorta like each other) Its just an example of McTavish's mean writing.   I have a feeling they were going to make Dahlia Frank's kid but they chickened out. Making Tina a prostitute didn't help, they could have been lovers when they were young but felt society pressure to part. Marcus took over David's role (you can't have two young black men at that time...)   Get used to it...this will happen, the same storyline over and over until the end.
    • Does anyone happen to have a recording or any footage of Jennifer’s funeral?
    • It's such a shame that the conflict couldn't be resolved in a mature way between the two actors.. especially since Albee was a bigger asset for the show in terms of character and his popular will they/won't they pairing with Deborah Saxon. One of the things about Edge was that it was just as popular with male viewers as it was with women.  It's one of things I think the show forgot in the final year or two with the deemphasis on the male characters.
    • Daytime Confidential did a podcast of the worst mothers in soaps and here were their lists.  5.Felicia Scorpio 4.Reva Shayne 3.Dina Mergeron 2.Helena Cassadine/Shelia Carter 1.Brooke Logan Dishonorable Mentions- Stephanie Forrester,Ann Douglas, Phyllis Summers and Joanna Manning Joshua 5.Anna Devane 4.Diane Jenkins 3.Ava Vitali 2.Shelia Carter 1.Brooke Logan Dishonorable Mentions-Alexis Davis, Felicia Scorpio, Eve Donovan, Heather Webber, Natalia Ramirez, Stephanie Forrester, and Ruth Martin Luke 5.Natalia Ramirez 4.Diana Coville 3.Helena Cassadine 2.Alexis Davis 1.Arlene Vaughn Dishonorable Mentions-Stephanie Forrester Now for my comments. Wonder what Ruth Martin ever did to this guy?!!! I mean Ruth Martin? I don't get it. Next, IMO they are just picking on Eve Donovan. Who is Dina Mergeron? Same question  Joanna Manning? Diana Colville Is that because of the bad DAYS retcon of her being Leo Stark's mother? All of the rest, CO-SIGN!

    • I don't really care about what the men are wearing, or not wearing.   What I care about is focusing on the writing and character development for each of the male characters. Andre really doesn't have a lot of character development that sets him apart from the other male characters except that he seems content to be degraded and mistreated by the elitist Dani.  I would like to know why a good looking younger guy like Andre would willingly be at the mercy of an emotional vampire such as Dani.   Martin, on the other hand, seems to have decent character development.. and it is partly due to how the actor chooses to recite his lines.  Martin was raised in a very privileged household and probably went to the best schools... so it makes sense that he would come across as thinking he was above everyone else.  Most people raised in a upper class situation as the Duprees would view themselves as better than others (it's the same trait Dani seems to employ on those she feels superior to). It makes me wonder how Nicole came out of that family being so warm and nurturing  when her family dynamics seemed very appearance oriented.
    • I know, right. I after just re-reading the thread, I'm like ooppph!
