Members juppiter
The dialogue between Shawn and that thug guy was sooo awkward and scabby. Shawn: I'm gonna kill you. Thug: Stop I have a gun. Shawn: I don't care, you're in big trouble buddy. Thug: You're forgetting who has the gun. Shawn: I don't care if you have a gun, if you don't let me get to my wife I'm gonna beat the crap out of you. Thug: Guess you're on the wrong side of the gun to say that, aren't you? Members DrewH
Best part of today's show: John gripping Sami by the throat! I lost it!

Administrator Toups Posted January 25, 2008 Administrator Share Posted January 25, 2008 LMAO I noticed that too. So now we got this today and earlier this week we had Abe's "They'll be crawling up your jock strap" comment and Marlena's "Stefano dry cleaned your brain." Members Khan
Okay. I watched the scene in question between John and Marlena and...John said "dry cleaned my brain" first. Marlena was just mocking/quoting back to him. As for Shawn and the thuggish dayplayer, though...can't explain that one, I'm afraid.
Members MichaelGL
We need to make a thread about all the lame ass dialogue we're getting from the scabs. Today was good because of all the story progression we had today. The dialogue did lack something though. I did notice that Marlena was mocking John about the "dry cleaned your brain" comment. Members Ives
Stephen Nichols and Mary Beth Evans were amazing in the Johnson family scenes today. I love how we have them doing great work earlier this week in fun, light and sexy scenes. And in the next episode they are spot on with the intense, emotional and family-oriented scenes. I really appreciate their versatility and talent. Rachel Melvin has been doing great stuff lately, also.
Administrator Toups Posted January 26, 2008 Administrator Share Posted January 26, 2008 I agree their scenes were very good......but why did it happen in the middle of the pub with people around? I found that weird. Couldn't they go somewhere more private? LOL
Members Khan
Because, if they did, DAYS would have to build a new set; and in order for DAYS to build a new set, they'd have to fire Renee Jones again.
Members Ives
Ah, but then there would have not been that suspenseful moment when Daddy Decker walked in and Chelsea could immediately follow. Yeah, the setting was lame. I noticed Stephen and Mary Beth trying to take that into consideration by occasionally looking around and trying to lower their voices but *definitely* an awkward setting. Maybe they are saving money on the shooting by not having to change sets ??
