This character won't be on long enough to offset salaries for Martha and Brandon. I'm not happy that they're leaving, especially Martha, but I think it's ridiculous to blame Shirley Jones (who will only appear in a handful of episodes as Colleen) for their departure. Right now I'm anxious to see this vendetta storyline wrapped up. I can't wait to see Shirley on the show.

Shirley Jones Looks the same as I always remembered her but they have really AGED! her. She looks nothing like Allison Sweeney! Who has been playing Colleen Brady all this time. I have a feeling that Shawn knows his sister is alive but just hasn't told anyone out of fear fot the horrible stanifo Demaria. Stanifo might try to send his goons to kill her. and, Colleen might have a son or daughter that she kept hidden all this time that woud make Stanfo and Shawn half brothers? yuck or maybe half cousins. that would be GROSS. But it is good that she is alive then Shawn can get rid of his guilt.

But if John's her biological son (and therefore Stefano's half-brother...right?), then how old was Colleen when she and Santo were love lettering each other to death? (Better yet, how old is John?)

^^ Simple. Stefano could have been about 10-12 years old in the scenes we saw. So John would be Stefano's age minus 11-13 years. Then being in the soap world they would add a couple of years. So John is probably about 15 years younger then Stefano.
