1999, right? That was a good set, but every young set was pretty good.

The thing is, Y&R doesn't really have a teen set anymore. Lily, Colleen, Daniel, and Devon are suppose to be in the 19-21 age range and they're all out of high school, so it's more like a "young adult" set. Victor Jr., though he really shouldn't be, appears to be a bit older than that set.

Yup. He's younger than everyone except Noah.

As long as there's Spamber, dreadful Colleen and Blandily, I don't look forward to another young character in town added to this mix.

Dude better know how to act. My patience is already thin as paper with all these youngster. They need to get of all these dreadful actresses/characters and just bring on Scotty and Billy and let them have a merry time with Victor Jr.... LOL!

He's the same age as I am, 28, since when does that count as a teenager? He'll just be another man wasted on that horrible Amber.

Looks too old. Besides, like DeeDee said, why do we beed more bloody Newman's?! Billy, Kyle and Phillip IV would make more sense to me. Unless they had major plans for Hope as well. Just pointless. I'm sick of the Newman pimping.

There's apparently something going around that Alex Donnelly will be back with a recast Kyle soon.

I completely agree. He definitely doesn't look like a teen to me. Cute. But necessary?

WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

YES! I sure hope it's true! I *loved* Alex Donnelly's Diane. She was fabulous! Her relationships with Jack and Victor were fabulous and the angle of Kyle was an untapped resource.

First, it was Daniel Goddard, who was clearly too young for Phillip Chancellor III; and now, it's this dude, who's clearly too old for V.J. Newman.

Seriously, Y&R, did your casting people flunk math in high school?

If I remember correctly, wasn't Victor Jr. born AFTER Noah??? Not that it matters.... <_<

Nope. Before. But still equally unecessary.
