I don't know about anyone else, but you're pretty much a non-entity to me now.

Ryan, welcome to the neighborhood. I will say you have the patience of The Pope. For you to hit the button says something.

You must be looking at a different line chart than me. If you scroll over the line chart a yellow line appears. The yellow line will show you each candidate's average on a daily basis. Yesterday Obama was at 49.8% and today he is at 49.4%...dropping...

McCain yesterday was at 43.6% and today he is at 44.1%..gaining..

You seem to let this election encompass a good bit of your day..You do spend a good bit of time discussing this election on this thread...to have such a hands off approach to this debate.

So are you interested in how these candidate's will effect you..or not? Why do you even waste a second conversing about any of this if it means nothing to you?

Maybe I'm a bored housewife or stay at home dad....taking a break from the kids indulging in an entertaining discussion.

I'm interested in how this election affects the direction of the country and what's best for the nation (including family and friends on whole).....since you asked. Since I may have been presumptuous in assuming you were wasting time interacting with me, then I suppose I'm not in a position to do the same about your assumption that I'm wasting my time here....but I really think you're missing the boat on this.

I don't think I have to be extremely passionate to get anything out of this thread. People have brought up some great points and I've learned some things and that makes it a positive thing for me. I have already acknowledged that I don't meet your standards.....isn't it up to you to accept that?

Don't you just LOVE how he finds whatever silly crap and post it, then says he's discussing the issues?

That just make me chuckle!

Well you have discussed nothing but me..What issues have you discussed today?

I would love to talk about issues..

I'll repeat my mantra. Polls can be misleading. I think this race is really tight. I also don't think McCain's incredibly nasty campaign is NOT meant to turn undecideds toward him. I think it's meant to make people sick of the campaign so they stay home.

You know, we all talk about the debates and the effect they will have. They don't appear to have any. The economy seems to be the only driving force out there. I'm glad Obama pushed back, but I'd still like to see some ads with him just talking to the American public. The country needs a let's calm down message.

I actually give President Bush a little bit of credit for that. He is trying to calm people down and to say, it's going to take a while don't panic. Unfortunately, he has such little credibility.

There is only one issue right now: the economy.

The ad he had talking to the people played this morning. I think the decision the Obama camp made was to show they are not Kerry or Gore. They will fight back. I don't care for how some in the media are trying to paint Obama with the same brush as McCain.

This is all McCain has left, and if he gets himself on tv tonight and brings this stuff up.................Obama should bring up this 90-year-old woman who tried to kill herself because she thought she would lose her home, or this man who wiped out his entire family because he couldn't find a job.

Since polls are being discussed, the electoral map based on state by state polls shows that McCain is losing ground. This is a much more accurate view of the current trends.

Ok..you are reading a whole lot into what I wrote...You made it seem as if you have no personal stake in this election...then you do...now you dont...

I dont really care..

I do find that interesting. I find it hard to believe that Virginia is leaning Obama, when they haven't voted Democrat since FDR.

I'm also hearing that McPalin is spending time in states that should be shored up.

Obama and Biden can seal the deal tonight and next Wed. night.

Florida is leaning Obama?!

Damn.

I cant wait for November 5th. I have a feeling that you will all be very shocked! You are being mislead by your media darlings.

Anyone want to make a bet with me about who will win? What should the stakes be?

Florida leaning Obama is a bit surprising, I thought it would be closer than that at this point. The Republican ticket is scrambling right now, Palin was even in Nebraska the other day, which is solid red.

Did you say something?

I'm sorry. I was sitting on the toilet while you were posting.

And now, back to the issues, already being discussed........

It hurts my feelings to hear a fellow Amanda fan say that. It's up to you.

I'm not sure what I said that made you think I was supporting McCain's use of "gook". I was trying to explain..why he may have said what he said. I did not mean to condone it.

I'm glad they are running that ad. Actually the Keating Five ad is a web documentary. It was talked about on the news, but I don't know that he invested any money showing it.

I agree with you about McCain just seeming angry. I thought he was very angry during the first debate.

I'm hoping Obama and Biden start their last week strategy next week and carry it through election day. It's time for the here is the energy ads and to see them out with the folks. I'm ready for the huge crowds, the 18 hour campaign days and the across the nation campaign. Once those start, they make McCain and his shrieking irrelevant. You know it's always good to make those who shriek irrelevant :P
