I just get the sense from the rumblings from the obama camp that hillary is not even on obama's list. Ted Kennedy sort of confirmed that in an interview he did a couple of days ago. But I guess things can change and its funny how obama keeps avoiding the question about hillary being his vp.

Anyone that would vote for McCain just because one or the other isn't chosen is stupid and should be slapped. Plain and simple. <_<

Well this thread has gotten interesting. I personally don't think Roman has been any more argumentative about his position than you Devoted have been about yours or I have been about mine or Wales has been about his.

As far as criticisms about not allowing opinions, how about we go to all the threads kissing Ron C's ass over at OLTL. Hmmm seems many of the people criticizing Roman about his positions on his thread are the very same ones who have said that people that don't like Ron C can post elsewhere or should not bother reading the OLTL string. I think Ron C is about the most overrated writer in this history of daytime. The show sucks. I also recognize a lot of people like him a great deal and have every right to speak passionately in his defense. I would argue that someone's passionate defense of a presidential candidate is equally if not considerably more rationale than that of a soap opera writer.

Now back on politics, Hillary Clinton has lost the primary. She is not going to be the nominee.

Hillary Clinton has a 54 percent negative rating and it's going higher. She can not win the White House.

West Virginia is not going to change the direction of the nominating process. Hillary's constant downgrading of Obama is hurting her now not helping her with the SDs. If Obama loses in November, Hillary will have a very tough time with the party in the future and many will blame her.

I think Obama as the nominee and Hillary as the VP would be a fine ticket. Unfortunately Hillary would torpedo it because she and Bill will not play second fiddle. If she would be a team player, and I think it's possible, it would be a very strong ticket and a very very strong administration.

I agree with you Devoted that insurance companies would destroy any national health care plan. It pisses me off too. Whatever we get will be better with a D than an R.

Ryan, I'm sorry. I can't figure out that quote thing and honestly, I guess I don't want to. I just line comments and people can read or not. So I guess people will complain to you. :P

Welll, if you go strictly on the basis of some educational rankings, the answer to that first question about WV and stupidity would be yes.   The vote is going to be between Obama and McCain. That is just the way it is.

This election is so important. I hope the democratic party comes together and we don't elect McCain. We have to get out of Iraq. I think it is the root of all evil. We can't afford the war, I don't know how we can win that war. Everything is bad right now. I don't see McCain making anything better.

You have no right calling anyone stupid just because of their vote...a lot of those who won't vote for the other are doing it because they don't share that person's views or are turned off by them. It is not a sign of stupidity at all and that is a direct bash at certain forum members who will do just what you said. I would see a forum member who did not know better indirectly bashing someone but a moderator? That is just wrong

I understand. I was trying to inject humor. I don't like to be called stupid either.

First off, I'm an Administrator. Secondly, I'm entitled to my opinion. I said MY opinion. I stand by MY opinion. To vote republican because either Obama doesn't choose Hilary as VP (or Hilary doesn't choose Obama as VP or either one gets the nomination) is stupid.....especially if you're a democrat. We've spent the last 8 years under a Republican regime, and we'd go 4 more, possibly 8 with another one? That to me is stupid.

But if someone says blacks won't vote because of the campaign Hillary ran, or that young people won't vote because they have no faith in her, then what we have is.....

"Oh. All Bill and Hillary have to do is say they're sorry and the people will forgive them and vote for her"

Which in effect is calling some people stupid because if they don't vote for your candidate, they have no good sense.
