I just get the sense from the rumblings from the obama camp that hillary is not even on obama's list. Ted Kennedy sort of confirmed that in an interview he did a couple of days ago. But I guess things can change and its funny how obama keeps avoiding the question about hillary being his vp.

Well this thread has gotten interesting. I personally don't think Roman has been any more argumentative about his position than you Devoted have been about yours or I have been about mine or Wales has been about his.

As far as criticisms about not allowing opinions, how about we go to all the threads kissing Ron C's ass over at OLTL. Hmmm seems many of the people criticizing Roman about his positions on his thread are the very same ones who have said that people that don't like Ron C can post elsewhere or should not bother reading the OLTL string. I think Ron C is about the most overrated writer in this history of daytime. The show sucks. I also recognize a lot of people like him a great deal and have every right to speak passionately in his defense. I would argue that someone's passionate defense of a presidential candidate is equally if not considerably more rationale than that of a soap opera writer.

Now back on politics, Hillary Clinton has lost the primary. She is not going to be the nominee.

Hillary Clinton has a 54 percent negative rating and it's going higher. She can not win the White House.

West Virginia is not going to change the direction of the nominating process. Hillary's constant downgrading of Obama is hurting her now not helping her with the SDs. If Obama loses in November, Hillary will have a very tough time with the party in the future and many will blame her.

I think Obama as the nominee and Hillary as the VP would be a fine ticket. Unfortunately Hillary would torpedo it because she and Bill will not play second fiddle. If she would be a team player, and I think it's possible, it would be a very strong ticket and a very very strong administration.

I agree with you Devoted that insurance companies would destroy any national health care plan. It pisses me off too. Whatever we get will be better with a D than an R.

Ryan, I'm sorry. I can't figure out that quote thing and honestly, I guess I don't want to. I just line comments and people can read or not. So I guess people will complain to you. :P

Well you can call over 60% of WV stupid! Because they arent voting for Obama if he gets the nomination. And I am talking about Hillary supporters. You can call me stupid too.... <_< Of course some wont even vote if it is between Obama and McCain...which is probably me too. <_<

Welll, if you go strictly on the basis of some educational rankings, the answer to that first question about WV and stupidity would be yes.   The vote is going to be between Obama and McCain. That is just the way it is.

This election is so important. I hope the democratic party comes together and we don't elect McCain. We have to get out of Iraq. I think it is the root of all evil. We can't afford the war, I don't know how we can win that war. Everything is bad right now. I don't see McCain making anything better.

You have no right calling anyone stupid just because of their vote...a lot of those who won't vote for the other are doing it because they don't share that person's views or are turned off by them. It is not a sign of stupidity at all and that is a direct bash at certain forum members who will do just what you said. I would see a forum member who did not know better indirectly bashing someone but a moderator? That is just wrong

First off, I'm an Administrator. Secondly, I'm entitled to my opinion. I said MY opinion. I stand by MY opinion. To vote republican because either Obama doesn't choose Hilary as VP (or Hilary doesn't choose Obama as VP or either one gets the nomination) is stupid.....especially if you're a democrat. We've spent the last 8 years under a Republican regime, and we'd go 4 more, possibly 8 with another one? That to me is stupid.

    • I wonder who Andre was thinking about when he was lying in his bed. Kat gives me feels of Y&R early Christel Khalil Lily, and her being a virgin is a throwback to the 1980s prized virgin heroine ie. Y&R Cricket, B&B Caroline, As the World Turns Lily.
    • This "3 Love Stories" episode was like taking a sleeping pill with a bottle of Nyquil. Josh Griffith is writing for 80-year olds with blue hair.
    • I guess in terms of Phillip's woman du jour coming in third behind Beth and Spaulding, that's true. But she sure wasn't either MKA or even Liz Dennehy. Was Bolger still in the role at the beginning of Phillip/Chelsea?
    • -- The coming out stuff was well-written and acted, but can't we at least hear someone tell Chelsea she needs to find a girl (or boy) who isn't frickin MARRIED? How is that not a huge fail on her part? She was willing to wreck a marriage to get herself a new boo. -- Dani can't have it both ways -- wanting Andre when she wants him but not wanting a relationship. He needs to leave her dry. -- The Dani/Pamela kiss was a plot device, but I get why they did it. I still think Cady McClain is overacting like crazy. -- Sean Freeman is good as Andre, but geez, his expertise on how relationships work is hard to listen to. He is not that guy. -- Ashley continues to be horribly written and badly played. I've grown to really dislike the character to the point of supporting Derek. -- The closing montage with Ashley and Derek looking at their phones was cool out of context. In context? We just saw Naomi lecture Derek about what to say to Ashley and how to move forward. So why in the hell did he go back to the fire station? Why not go back home? Made no sense. -- The writers are not giving Hayley enough. She's islanded. -- The Leslie/Eva scenes are still great. We get to see this complete mind control that Leslie has over Eva. We know that everything Leslie says is selfish and incriminating and awful, yet it's easy to understand why Eva falls for it.
    • Imagine having to do that in one take
    • I can't remember who or how many people here have said it, but thanks to this site, I can't not think of the Nurse's Ball as akin to a school talent show.
    • It’s a 2025 spin and meshing of both. I love that it also makes her stand out in comparison to all the other women. Like she and Chelsea could not have more differing styles. I applaud the costume designer.
    • Am I the only one that fast forwards the Nurse’s Ball performances? I watched one year and it was the most cringe thing I’d ever sat through. In general I hating singing and performances on soaps, especially bad ones.
    • And both knew how to dress.  I feel Kat is a good mix of both.
    • I wonder if Xander will mention Sarah's history of mental illness in determining custody?

I understand that she has the upper hand now, but if Philip refuses to name his assailant, that won't last for long. Although, it would be odd if two characters are complicit with their attackers.  Yet, as Brady mentioned regarding the baseball bat incident from a few months ago, Xander has gotten away with a lot.  It is almost like he is a billionaire who is above the law. I assume we're meant to hope Xander and Sarah get back together, but today showed that there are just as many reasons for them to stay apart.
