It's a known fact that when people have nothing to do, they gather together for any political event in town. Especially in Oregon.:lol::lol:

I know George Bush is responsible for many things but I can't go along with the notion that he weakened the media which has had its problems before he came on the scene. And I'm no fan of the media but for HC to try to make them a scapegoat in her predicament is pretty dishonest. They were quite beneficial to her when she was doing well or touting her position as the comeback kid and if they didn't pay any attention to her now she'd be a non factor. Sure there are some who have been unfair to her because of whatever issues with her but she has probably antagonized her fair share of the media as well.

I think she is saying to hell with it (in regard to the media). She knows her winning the primary is a longshot now. At least she gets the satisfaction of flipping off the media. Good for her and go for it. She has nothing to lose by getting in the media's face and she gains personal satisfaction. I think it must be satisfying for her to tell them to f off. I also think after the Whitewater crap, all she went through as First Lady, she has earned the right to gain that satisfaction.

Hillary IS NOT a FOOL and IS NOT making a fool of herself. She'd be making a fool of herself by stepping aside. All votes should be counted.

Owensboro's great BBQ is Moonlite. It's awesome. I actually ate there Saturday. Love a lot of their food, BBQ Pork, Mutton & Beef.

I agree with the crowed in Oregon for Obama. I still think it'll be Obama & Hillary----but now probably in that order. I'm still voting for Hillary tomorrow because in my heart and soul I think and know she's the best candidate for the job.

CORRECTION: The crowd in Bowling Green was actually "over 1000" as reported by the Bowling Green Daily News. I actually aimed to type 2000 instead of the 4000 that I typed. The story in the Daily News also stated that "hundreds had to be turned away because they arrived too late".

This is what has always rubbed me the wrong way.

Last year, when these two states broke the rules, she signed that document stating that they should lose every delegate for doing so. Now.........she is not only acting like she never signed the document, she's crying disinfranchisement if they are not seated.

I agree with the Doctor........they knew what they were doing is wrong, and if a deal can't be worked out between her and Barack, they shouldn't be seated.

That's what she gets for being arrogant in the first place.

And I just wanted to throw this out there:

From CNN:

Tracking Poll: Obama opens up biggest lead ever over Clinton

Posted: 04:35 PM ET

From CNN Associate Producer Martina Stewart

An estimated 75,000 people came out to support Barack Obama Sunday in Oregon.

(CNN)– Amid reports that the Democratic Party’s leaders and largest fundraisers are beginning to take steps to try to bring their party together after a long, hard-fought primary campaign, the latest Gallup daily tracking poll suggests Democratic voters are beginning to coalesce around Sen. Barack Obama.

Obama holds a 16-point lead over Sen. Hillary Clinton in Gallup’s latest daily tracking poll released Monday. He has the support of 55 percent of Democratic and Democratic-leaning voters while Clinton’s support is at 39 percent.

Previously, Obama’s largest lead over Clinton was 11 percentage points, in daily tracking polls conducted in mid-May and mid-April, according to Gallup. Prior to John Edwards’s exit from the Democratic nomination race, Clinton held a 20-point lead over Obama in mid-January.

The results are based on a survey of 1,261 Democratic and Democratic-leaning voters using combined data from May 16-18, 2008. The poll has a margin of error of plus or minus three percentage points.

Kentucky and Oregon hold their Democratic primaries Tuesday. Obama is favored in Oregon’s contest and Clinton in Kentucky’s, according to CNN’s latest poll of polls in each state.

    • At first I was on the fence about Gio being Brooklyn/Dante's son, but I've been loving the build up to this reveal.  I'm glad Korte/CVE took their time with this story because the reveal was excellent!  When Gio found out half way through the episode, I thought, "Why did he find out now? This should be the cliffhanger."  Boy, was I wrong.  Gio smashing the violin and revealing the truth to everyone like that was high drama, and what I want to see in a soap opera.  Can't wait for tomorrow.
    • It's beyond pathetic and absurd. If this is the budget model they have to follow, I'm OK with a cancellation. This sets problem is horrendous, and it's destroying the show. I can't get past it.
    • I don't think Josh Swickard's voice is horrible or anything, but the show makes it seem like he could just casually take up a singing career if he felt like it because he's that talented.  He's not.  I am not sure he would even be able to be a backup singer on Broadway or in most bands. I thought DZ was the worst of all the dancers, but adorably so.  You could tell this wasn't in DZ's wheelhouse and it was fun.  On the very light-hearted end of the Nurses Ball shindig.  Gio Mazza continues to impress.  What a find.  It's a shame it took the show an entire year to give him any meaty material.  While Joss was off playing spy games on air way too long. The violin smashing was perfectly in character with someone related to Sonny lol.  Nature vs Nurture.  The Corinthos side won.
    • Today was excellent soap. I had no problem with GM’s performance. I watch soaps for big dramatic blowups like that. What a great cliffhanger. God I’m so ready for all of Drew’s misdeeds to come out. He is so damn slimy. Also I hope absolutely no one is there for Willow’s dumb ass when this all blows up. As everyone has pointed out Tracy would never be stupid enough to just leave ketamine sitting in her car. PCPD continues to be complete morons.
    • Well, I'll say this much...I've been gone for months and my first tune in...nice to see FOINE Isaiah as the first image I saw.   And I'm actually impressed by how much Drew is running/scheming/manipulating everything and everyone in sight. Cuz he's teamed up with TRACY now? TRACY??? Who he was slapsticky feuding with months ago. And seems to have a countermove for every person against him now...which now takes up almost all the whole canvas vs just a limited part of it months ago.    He really has risen to...mmmm not quite Stefano Dimera evil...yet...but Mitch Laurence manipulation?? That's quite a leap in three months. Again...impressed.
    •   Josh Swickard has a more than passable voice. His performance of "Smooth Criminal" a few years ago showed he has talent. But damn, this wasn't it. That song (a Swickard original?) was lame and awful, and the accompaniment by 3 non-professional dancers was...a choice. The entire thing was pretty cringe and a big YIKES. As for Dominic Zamprogna, I thought he was the BEST of the 3 dancers. JK and SW were stuck onstage without a net.   -- The Gio reveal was great soap. The Nurses Ball backdrop was the perfect place for that to happen, and reason enough for the NB to exist. I'll take that kind of cliffhanger any day of the week.     Lots of comments here about GM getting too loud and dramatic, but I like the choice, and I think it worked. It played against type. Gio was onstage performing, and he gave us a real performance.      We seem to love all the soap traditions being brought back to life on BTG, but when GH does it with the violin smashing, then it's too much? That scene gave us a moment.   For me, I can put aside how many rootable characters are on a soap when the drama is good -- and I think we're getting good drama. And isn't Gio rootable? Emma? Liz? Dante was rootable until he went on a "Destroy Gio" tour the past couple weeks. Besides, it depends on your definition of "rootable." I think Tracy is rootable even though she is deeply flawed and makes a lot of mistakes.
    • Same. I didn't want to jump in until the writing change, but I got busy. I've been doing other things, but I've been really enjoying DAYS today so far. And grateful my internet is going great. And highlight today was seeing Dr. Marlena Evans for the first time in years. Oh, how I've missed her. Still am not ready for John though. I know I'm going to be a mess.

GH...I was feeling nostalgic for the Nurses Ball and I liked the promo for it. So I figured I can push down my dislike of The Writer Who Shall Not Be Named enough to tune in. For a week at least. lol. It seems like...from the few comments I choose to look at cuz...no spoilers but that one hehe...it is going to be a good but fun event. And let's be real...we know I want to see the Carly slap...looooong time coming.
    • Thurs sees Lily and Damian at GCAC spending an entire episode talking. Nate and Audra at Society talking-but wait Kyle and Claire arrive, so they have someone else to talk to for the entire episode. Amanda at CL talking to Devon and Abby for the entire episode.  The Young in the Restaurants continues...
    • And it also could've played into Dani's characterization as well, with her being the middle child.
