RPG says Carruthers recently interrupted a story meeting to introduce him to B&E, who told him he could come talk to them about his story at any time. I found the SOD interview from last year I was thinking of where B&E said they started at AMC the first week of June, so that's when their cycle is up. I think they started the same day Ron Carlivati went Higley-free.

He also mentioned something about Agnes having been part of his storyline or something like that. I think that's why B&E have shut their traps, Agnes is ghost writing or something

That still means B&E can be fired in June. They went to work in June meaning their cycle is up in June! Heres to hoping they get canned!

I've seen it speculated that B&E's swan song might be Jesse & Angie's wedding which is happening near the end of May

I always felt that the "I don't need DNA... I have K-A-N-E!" line was tounge in cheek -- considering just how MUCH of the show revolved around DNA under McTavish at the time. Every other week, somebody was waiting for the results of a DNA test. Even if it wasn't, "K-A-N-E" wasn't nearly as atrocious as some of the crap that has been uttered from AMC's characters since BFB's departure.

It's the one that came out today, usually these don't show up at the SOD site, just stuff they left out of it usually does. I'm sure someone will post it at soapzone or somewhere

My only point is B&E did not start right away after the announcement was made. They started in June. So even if May comes and goes and nothing has been said, there's still another week or two of hope But after that, it's time to hit the bottle hard.

Plus I got the feeling from Ricky's interview that it was done not long after he started taping, so I doubt it's very current......

The SOD interview noted that RPG's first tape day was "the following Monday" and per his blog on March 26, Ricky said his first tape date was April 8th. So the interview is probably three weeks old.

Actually, the article doesn't state he could specifically talk about his story. It said that if he had any questions or needed to talk to them, that he could call them. I thought it was humorous because it sounded like these yuks didn't have a whole lot to do other than sit around, drink coffee and collect another paycheck.
