The bit that pleased me was that he and Cherie are "keenly aware" of the problems Y&R experienced in the past year and that "we're going to do everything we can -- and then some! -- to help make it what has been for years: the number one daytime drama, and a show in which people's emotional investment always pays off."

Additionally, it's nice that at least both of them responded, they could have just blown my email off.

Not sure if this is a double post, my apologies if it is:

^It's nice to know that they knew Latham's pay-offs SUCKED ASS.

Hopefully, under the guidance of a better and much stronger Head Writer, everyone will benefit. Remember when people were calling for the entire OLTL writing team to be fired a year ago? Once Ron came on, everything went well with the show and not many changes to the writing team happened. Who is to say the same won't happen at Y&R?

I don't think the entire staff has to be tossed out.... who knows, maybe some Friends of Latham are decent enough writers when they are delgated properly.....

Scott Hamner will hopefully be gone though as he was one of Latham's first hires and she pimped him in the magazines as the Mesta murder mystery being his brainchild..... reason enough for his ass to be tossed out....

Scott Hamner needs to go!

Well. Who knows if some of LML friends are good writers. She had the most power as HW and EP. But so far everything at Y&R is getting better. There are still many problems behind the scenes but at the end I think Y&R will become stronger!
