In what way has ATWT improved? I'm not seeing it. Don't be fooled because Tom, Margo, Bob, etc. are on right now. This is just to prop Chris and introduce Casey. The show is still sucking donkey balls with the horrible Dusty story, extremely distasteful writing for women (ROSANNA anyone?!) and soon another one of Hal's kids will go to the dark side. Goutman's writing is just a continuation of the garbage Passanante was sending out. I can't think of a single good story or rootable character (with screentime).

Now that AMC is improving I'd say ATWT is the worst soap on air

That's for damn sure. Last fall ATWT dusted off the vets for few episodes, and resumed the insanity soon after. This is no different. Bob was a non-issue in his own coma story, which ultimately represented a hospital mystery that should have been tied to Lucinda and Craig's battle for Montgomery Enterprises. No such luck. As soon as Dusty's murder and Carly's ventriloquist are a memory, Goutman will be back to killing the show as he did since refusing to call for changes when Hogan Sheffer started to falter.

My guess is that the Donna/Eric were written in outlines pre-strike. It happened with several DAYs episodes as well - right?

As of Jan 29 the screen is blank again - no writers listed.

As for Y&R. Halelujah! The b*tch is out - thanks to a house sweep by SONY labeled as force majeur. She ain't coming back; what a gift for Y&R fans.

Let's that Josh Griffith knows his stuff, I'm pretty optimistic about Maria Arena Bell and there's also Natali Minardi and/or Janice Ferri Esser as soon as the strike is over. I guess one of these woman will get a promotion by then and replace Arena Bell if she doesn't want to continue.

AMC:

- James Harmon Brown back listed as Co-Head Writer on January 31

- Barbara Esensten back listed as Co-Head Writer on January 31

If B&E are already back in the credits, there is no way they went back to work in late December. It would've been sometime in November.
