If it's for Y&R, I have a feeling this is just the beginning of reconstructing that writing team. I'm sure they'll be more hirings and firings before the fall is here.

Not to mention, they need to fire Josh Griffith as EP like yesterday. Just as long as Bloom doesn't hire his successor.

Assuming all seven are on one show, it kinda would have to be Y&R. If not, that would be another sad blow. Will they replace them with Friends of Hogan or old Bell people like Janice Ferri Esser who has been trying to get back to Y&R? Or more people who we've never heard of like Jay Gibson and Marc Parent?

I agree that it'll be interesting to see which seven are let go.

The problem is - if you fired 7, then hired another 7 (no matter if it's old Bell people or Hogan's crowd), you did nothing, did you?

If there are 22 now, minus 7 it will be 15. And that's a lot. Less than 22, but a lot.

The 7 surely have to come from Y&R. I mean anymore writers (and there surely WILL be) and all we'll need is a teacher and a blackboard! Blimey.

And with a few people here in-the-know, it'll be hard to keep a lid on this so long. Besides, for the teases to be released now, I'm thinking a couple of days, a week at MOST. Don't worry folks, by this time next week, we'll be chewing the fat over it.

    • @soapfan770 Thanks for the Sheri Anderson interview. So she admits to being influenced by Wall Street, but did she really think that 25 years later (going by real time) the audience wouldn't notice the dust off of The Sound of Music?

    • Thanks @soapfan770 . Sheri seems to have a much different take on Emma's husband than I remember the show having.
    • Lucky said he’s gonna travel this summer with Aidan. It was a quick line. Willow looks dumber by the day somehow.
    • Well, I do love a good soap himbo who can wear some pants...and very much blue jeans.

But yeah, I can see it. I saw it more with Hayley though.
    • Ewww....I love MKA, but GL wasted her returns. I do think she sleeps with Ross, or gets darn close.   So...against my better judgment, I slid into '86 to find Vanessa confessing to Henry about being pregnant...and it's NOT William Roerick, DAMN IT. It's some damn temp Henry. But then it gets weirder because I'm listening in German, and it's the same voice fooling me.
    • I hope the writers understand how pathetic and stupid Willow looks in order to continue this madness with Drew. Willow has become a laughingstock. Lucky didn't say goodbye to Aidan? Pathetic!!! Maybe then she can buy clothes that fit her. The blouse she had on today was three sizes too big.
    • I really enjoyed the first half of season 9. It was dark but Emma, Angela, Lance and Richard were front and center.  Pilar and Frank were finally interesting.  Charley, Michael and Genele came in and caused a lot of drama.  It was even sexier. I also liked the new into theme music. Then the second half of the season went to hell.
    • Something that I love about Dani is that despite her issues with Bill, she's always encouraged her daughters to have a relationship with him. I also believe that she does have a great amount of love for him which is why she is so hurt that he's sick. I've loved them including her in his recovery. It feels real and their chemistry is just insane so any chance for more of it is welcomed. That would be the perfect karma. Kat needs to learn boundaries and not be so impulsive, but I still feel like the Duprees are going to clear Leslie. How? I don't know, but that's what I think is going to happen. I feel like she'll get some kind of blackmail over them which will cause them to clear the slate. Of course the show never goes where you expect so I'm sure they'll do something different but I'm definitely curious how she will manage this.
