I think Angela Shapiro was promoted to President of ABC Daytime in 1998.

Pat Fili-Krushel became President in 1993, I believe. Preston Padden was there before her.

Ugh I can't believe Frons has lasted this long. Seriously who is he blackmailing, does he have th President of Disney in a compromising situation with Goofy or something? It makes NO sense at all

Yep and has done more to damage ABC Daytime than anyone else, and yet for some reason keeps getting PROMOTED for being a failure.

Who is that?

It was Jackie Smith from perhaps the mid 70s through a good chunk of the 80s at ABC.

At some point prior Leonard Goldberg had it. Perhaps a large part of the 60s?

After Jackie there was another woman then MADD for a long time. When she left they put Dennis Swanson from sports in there. There was a mad rush to add sports content to the shows to woo his favour esp. at GH. His run by the way was hideously awful. Just dire. I don't remember if there was someone else between him & Angela. But she's the one who brought Guza & Pratt back to ruin GH upon fan demand (I suspect mainly the Carly fans.)

I can't remember the name of the woman in the middle.
