Lindsay Goes Mad

Catherine Hickland, who’s been wowing us with Emmy-worthy work on One Life to Live, will pull out all the stops on September 24. That’s when her character, Lindsay, has a mental breakdown in the courtroom after pleading guilty to the murder of Spencer Truman (Paul Satterfield). Lindsay will then get carted off to the local nuthouse, St. Ann’s, where she previously spent time after accidentally killing ex-husband Sam. “My room is always waiting,” cracks Hickland, who wasn’t laughing the day of her mad scene. “I felt sick when I left the studio because my emotions were so wrung out and my eyes were bulging out of my head. But it was the most amazing day of my acting career. This is my big Susan Hayward ‘I Want to live!’ moment!”(And if you’re too young to get the reference, too bad.) Lindsay will also reveal what she caught creepy Spencer doing when she stabbed him 10 times.

FYI: Hickland, formerly wed to David Hasselhoff and All My Children star Michael E. Knight (Tad), is turning author: She has a deal with Simon & Schuster to publish her self-help tome The 30 Day Heartbreak Buster.

I'm not currently watching, and I've never really (ever) been a CH fan, but I may tune in because I just want to see the end of this never-ceasing, always increasing storyline.

But, I do have to say America has enough self-help books, and considering how screwed up and detached we've all become, it's probably not worth it to have another one.

I figured it would be the nuthouse... and not the jailhouse. Though, I think the jail would be more interesting.

It would, but once you're shipped off to Statesville then we would probably never see her again. If Lindsay is sent to St. Anne's it's very easy to have her "cured" so she can return to Llanview.

Ugh I figured Lindsay was covering for someone.

LOL it always makes me giggle that Cat was married to a guy who PLAYED Michael Knight, then actually married to a Michael E. Knight

Is that where Blair's Mother Addie is?

Yes it is, and we will see Addie again on October 1st, when Will encounters her at St. Anne's while going to visit his mother.
