I guess it's up to me today

The first J/E scene already has made the show for me today even if Greenlee most probably will spoil it.

The Erica/Greenlee quips are hysterical  Too bad SS only has chemistry with SL and CE.

Poor Jack..Always stuck in the middle of this

LOL..They are going to try to be civil for Jack's sake. I do love this family warts and all :D

I love JR/Amanda though I know I'm one of the few that loves his comedic chemistry with Ava :D

Yikes! Annie admits the truth about her mom This actress is doing an awesome job today. Looks like they are setting Ritchie up to be the new bad guy in PV.

I knew Kendall had something under that coat  Though I am not a big Zendall fan they are cute today

Yeah but summer 2005 and 2006 brought upon the all new lows of 2.5, 2.4 and 2.3. AMC had a few 2.2's in the can before B&E started. That's not me defending B&E, because frankly besides the first two weeks of their first story I haven't been all that impressed by their writing style. That's just me saying.

Out of curiosity, how accurate are these ratings? Are they just counting the viewers that watch on ABC Daytime or are they also including the people that watch on SoapNet at night, in the morning, or during the weekend?

Also what about the many people that are recording the show and watching it later. I know that I have a TIVO at home and a DVR from the cable company on one of my TVs at home. I have the ability to record three different shows at once on just one set...that doesn't even count the other TV that also has a DVR on it. I sometimes don't get a chance to catch up on some of my favorite shows until weeks after they have actually aired. How does Nielson address people that record shows and then watch them later?

    • A--I wish someone would post a better vid of the entire ball, as it must be out there. And B--nope. Evie is only in a small segment of the ball with Phillip, Rick and Mindy. She doesn't dance at all. Ross dances with Helena and Amanda. I'm not even sure why Evie is at the ball---Vanessa heartily disliked her. I did see that Billy actually asked Henry to introduce him to Vanessa, which I hadn't realized.
    • Honestly, they should've ordered more of 2000 Malibu Road for the 1992-93 midseason and aired it when Knots went on a break. That was probably their best shot.    Then of course they fumbled Central Park West by airing it in the 9PM slot instead of a 10PM slot where it would've been away from the Fox dramas. CPW got its best rating by airing randomly on a Sunday and when it was taken off the air for a "re-tooling", Party of Five's ratings actually had a spike, so clearly they were feeding off each other. But being a smaller network focused on a certain demographic, Fox could afford to be patient Party of Five, CBS couldn't...
    • Agree on Bruce Gray as Owen; they needed to cast star power. He was too lightweight against Kim and he had no chemistry with Frances Fischer except more gay buddy or daddy figure.  I loved Nola and Eliot together though. Lee Godart should have been longer term.
    • Andre has the worst fashion of the males which is off putting for someone as fine as he is. His jackets and sweaters look dated and no vintage does not work for him
    • I don’t recall MSW having a toy line in the late 80’s or early 90’s like all those Saturday morning cartoons did LOL but thought this was cute when I saw it in a vintage toy store yesterday:

    • Copying and pasting pasting this here as to not to derail the KL thread lol Wow I forgot CBS actually did try multiple attempts to come up with a soapy replacement for Knots on Thursday nights in the 10/9 slots for the 93-94 season.   Angel Falls had promise but CBS didn’t give it a fair chance. Latham’s Second Chances got even worse ratings than Angel Falls and wasn’t given a second chance when the Northridge quake destroyed the show’s sets. One West Waikiki looked gorgeous but was a blink you missed it affair. Finally we got Hotel Malibu, a quasi follow-up to Second Chances that stayed as the summer replacement series it was. CBS switched gears and had Chicago Hope air in the slot…against ER. It made the Top 30 but obviously underperformed below expectations. CBS gave up, and gave us 48 Hours for years there. It wasn’t until the 2002-03 season when CBS finally produced a Top 20 show for that spot with Without A Trace against an aging ER.
    • Of course I join in on wishing that Peacock & Corday & Sony would all together come to the conclusion that NOW would be a fine time to put some of these gems in the archive on full display!!! But, at the same time I'd like to give kudos to the fact that behind the scenes they've been doing the great work of preservation by taking tapes, etc. & converting them to modern digital formats. Besides the important fact of preserving them it means they are ready to go!
