Zach and Kendall and the signals  Loved Zach and Kendall out of the hospital laughing and smiling

Loved the party scenes. Just love eppys like this; when the cast is all together.

Didn't care for the Princess Lipgloss nor Ryannie making love. Would had been more then happy seeing just Annie and Walter

This was the BEST episode in a long time. Absolutely Emmy-winning material.

The FULL-cast integration today was amazing. From Erica blowing a kiss to Opal, to having Ruth & Joe Martin hugging Zendall and asking to see baby pictures. Tad's birthday party was the best idea in a long time. It was happy, fun, family-oriented. It was so nice and refreshing to see Kendall and Zach out of the hospital and having a good time. Having Zach interact and be friends with the other PV guys was nice during the poker scenes. Having Kendall hang out with the Fusion girls, and even having Julia take her home! It was amazing integration and balance today.

Speaking of, very nice to see Julia back! That was an unexpected surprise. Also, the Jamie video was really great, and very emotional. Even I started tearing up with everyone else when he said Tad was his best friend and how Jake said hello to everyone. Bobbie Eakes was amazing as always with her song. It was just a great party, full of happiness. The humor was there too! Tad doing his Forrest Gump impression...Tad making fun of Aiden's speech...etc.

The only thing I did question was Colby finding out about Liza/Tad. I thought she knew about their past???

The Greenlee scenes were done really well. The directing was great, particularly in the scene where she started eating alone, and then it transitioned to a zoom-out look at Greenlee all alone, then cut to commercial. It was just really effective camera-work. I felt bad for her!

The scenes with Ryan/Annie were so hot and sexy. Maybe it was the silver silky sheets, but the lovemaking scenes were so elegant and hot. Then you had the Walter/Annie scenes which was so intriguing and mysterious. The lighting and sign language made it so real and emotionally exciting. I am loving this storyline.

Today might have been AMC's turning point with the new writers. I think today signifies the start of new stories. We have Julia back, as Krystal/Tad get closer. Sean/Colby are back. There is the new guy Wes. We just have the potential of good things coming now.

Today was classic All My Children. The writing was amazing, the balance was perfect, the directing was outstanding. There was happiness, sadness, hot romance, mystery, intrigue, humor. Everything you could want! :)

Friday was the best episode in months.... I just wish they'd give Opal or Ruth more airtime... come on, we need to good old AMC back full-time... I'm afraid things might go back (to these last few weeks) on Tuesday.

I just loved seeing my beloved Tad using his humor and charm with the crowd and looking at all those gorgeous photos of him over the years. I adore this man

Loved my Jerica not being able to keep their eyes, or their hands, off one another  I loved the Tad/Erica/Jack exchange :D

I despise seeing Kendall/Erica socializing with Carey's though. I guess I'm one of the few that can't get past what they did and I want to throw the television when Kendall hangs all over that Babe person. :(

I FF Ryidiot whenever possible. I couldn't help but feel sorry for Greenlee all along today <ducking>..I did crack up though at Aidan and Jack lamenting that she is no longer on the meds and is back to normal

LOVED the Tad and Krystal kiss. Reunite them already! Those 2 still have the chemistry and I want them back together. Overall loved Tad's birthday celebration. Good stuff

Deifently loved teh Annie/Ryan love scenes. They make such a great couple. The scene with her and her father were good. I really want to know what she did

Where is Josh? He seems to be MIA

    • The show has gone back to 10/10 entertainment! I'm glad that I was right in feeling that what were experiencing were growing pains. I'm sure they are not over yet, but I'll know that we always comeback to quality drama. I think it's going to be a hell of ride (in a good way) from this moment on. BTG has that magic that not a lot of shows have. I'll update more... when I'm done catching up.
    • So very glad to hear this. Yesterday I suddenly thought; OMG, what about spoilers, have I just  ruined things for Maxim in getting carried away with interest in Evan, who was so well-written & well-acted. BTW, your fan review of this episode was a sight for eyes that had not seen one of these for a little bit too long, LOL!!!  Mitch is also fascinating to me but in his case it's because he was all in with Janice & her nefarious plan & then he did this turnabout we've mentioned & he basically got off scot-free.
    • It does seem cheap and lazy for this show to have just one family. Passions was heavily criticized but it was nicely structured with a total of four families.
    • I think it was definitely a surprising reveal in the storyline. I had a hard time appreciating Evan because I couldn't get behind his interest in Amanda. But that's because I never thought Sandra Ferguson made her a compelling character (although to give her credit she occasionally had decent emotional scenes with Mac or Rachel).
    • I'll even go further... I'll make her re-think BeLief and create a new patent. Brooke needs stuff to do. Anything other than beg or be in her panties. We need her to be creative. But sadly Bradley has a very low opinion of these characters. To him Brooke is nothing more than sex and scandal... or a pathetic doormat. Ridge is nothing more than a chauvinist pig that needs to pit women against each other to feel like A MAN and Steffy is nothing more than her father's guard-dog. I don't even want to open my mouth about Hope. She is such a fiasco in my opinion... I will not suffer if they kill her off. Bradley pooped on her character and now it's too late to fix it. Annika is great and I would hate to see her go, but slutty Hope was not her thing. The vibe was missing.
    • I've seen Jason interact with Mitch and annoy him. That's as far as I recall. I didn't even have a slight idea that Evan had a vendetta against Rachel... That came as a surprise to me. I thought Evan was Iris's dog and that's it. Now he's definitely more interesting.
    • Thanks for these. I can't recall -- did Evan's vendetta have any position on Mitch, or was it all about Rachel? @Maxim have you seen any Frames intreracting with Mitch in any way?
    • Thank you for the tag! It's always a pleasure to see these little pearls of memories.
    • Uh-oh. Today just might’ve been the first Paula/Jeanne stinker. I have a feeling whose fault that might be though. So, Doug III is getting a job at the Pub?  It’s good to see him interact with other characters. I enjoyed his scenes with Roman, even though the talk of Frankie and Max seemed a little random. And it also could be really interesting now that Tate knows. Days really need to start pushing their rivalry again. We need some follow up from the punch. Tying it all to Holly, to Sophia’s pregnancy, to the guys that Doug III owes money to could be good.  But yeah, wayyy too much Leo again in today’s episode. Seriously, has anything changed with this nothing character? I thought it was all Ron’s fault, but maybe Greg Rikaart is (partially) responsible for Leo being so insufferable.  And yeah seriously, Rafe needs to throw all of these people out of his house. Including Gabi

But I do wonder who’s the mysterious voice that Gabi overheard with EJ on the night he was shot. Based on yesterday’s episode, I have a suspicion.
    • Add me to the group of people who think that Brandon has improved. He has. There's no doubt about it. Especially compared to the beginning. And he's improving in a way that... it makes me think that he realizes what the issues are and is addressing them. Of course, he's no master of acting at this point... but I don't cringe as much as I did. And I've seen people in Bold... I won't even have to name names, because everyone knows who they are... who are becoming even worse than what they were offering in the first place. So... I'm happy that in BTG... people are actually blossoming and improving. It surely means that the atmosphere is creative and nurturing talent.  BUT and it's a big butt... his relationship with his husband is still so lacking and ghastly. I am craving to see more action from these guys. I want to see Smitty's character. If he has any.
