Angie won the battle of the pushers. Angie was sleeping in that stadium, I'm not sure she even went back to her hotel or wherever she's been staying. She wanted this win badly.

Naomi is sorta melting down in this tiebreak.

I guess Naomi would crumble into a bunch of pieces if she got a code violation?  If the Chair can't to their jobs because the player is too fragile, the player shouldn't be out there.  Two back to back racket abuse and not one damn word from the Chair 🤬  This can't be what Naomi wants.  

Leylah Fernandez is showing incredible composure while Naomi is losing it.

🇨🇦Leylah Fernandez!!🇨🇦  First time watching her play (started watching the 3rd set) and she played so well - she hits winners, has a good serve, and some good drop shots.   Now FAA needs to pull through tonight. 

 

Post Serena, no one is dominating.  The next gen is being pummeled by the newer gen.  

The McEnroe brothers are SO annoying. They are talking about nonsense when the ball is in play.

FAA! Glad he didn’t choke that 2 set lead away. Great night for Canadians.  I love watching night matches at the US Open - best crowd in tennis (like that girl who chugged the beer, twice 😂 🍻). 

Naomi says she doesn’t know when she’s gonna play her next tennis match. She’s taking a break for a while.

She needs a really good break.  She seems to be happy off the court and has multiple projects she appears to like.  Losses shouldn't be this devastating.  Ash took off a few years and look at her now.
