Members Faulkner
Raonic pulled out of his semi against FAA with a back injury (what else is new?), so Felix gets a walkover to play Berrettini in the Stuttgart final. Federer plays John Millman (who beat Fed in that sweaty match at the USO) R1 in Halle.

Members Faulkner
It’s not my favorite, as it’s too rewarding to servebots. It’ll be hyped to death because Federer, but hopefully Novak will shut that sh!t down. I did love the Venus era.

Members Faulkner
Caro loves her athletes. Saw that Serena and Angie were there. Glad that she’s finding some stability beyond tennis, especially with her illness.

Members DramatistDreamer
Grass courts haven't been true grass courts in about a decade and pretty much, everybody and their mamas play baseline tennis, which doesn't make for very interesting on a grass court. There has been a distinct lack of surface diversity in regards to court surface construction and speeds. Sure it might make the transition from one surface to another a bit less chaotic but it can make for some dull tennis overall.

Members Faulkner
They just split sets, with Kristyna breaking in the third. I’m sure it’s a nervy match. Ostapenko did God’s work today and since I forgot to haul out this video during the French, I’ll do it now:
