Venus has found her game, thankfully, as she often does. But as always, you worry about her having to do this too many times before facing an inspired younger opponent like Muguruza.

Mackenzie McDonald is cute.

Looks like Borna is injured.

And Grigor is beating the brakes off Stan.

What’s going on with Grigor? Will he have a resurgent season from the hard courts on like he did last year? But his play so far in 2018 has been extremely disheartening and inexplicable.

Svitolina out at ANOTHER slam. I know grass isn’t her thing, but what is going on here?

Bemelmans looked like he was choking against Steve Johnson, but he managed to pull it out.

Kasatkina's coach had it right when he compared 36 year old Serena to these girls. There's no fire. Sloane losing to Vekic is ridiculous!  Svitolina is a joke too!

Maybe Dusan just isn’t great on grass, but Fed is looking in epic form right now. He’s dropped Nike (surrendering his RF logo, which they own) for Uniqlo in a reported 10-year, $300 million+ plus deal. I know athletes can still be valuable past their active years, but how many of those does he intend to play? I’m assuming at least through the Tokyo Olympics in 2020.

Ugh, Sloane is in a deep hole against Donna Vekic, and Venus is struggling in early games against Larsson. I have more faith in Venus to switch to another gear, but neither have played since the French, right?

Not according to Roger.  He has stated in press that the RF logo belongs to him and he will be taking that to Uniqlo as soon as some issues are worked out. He sounded pretty adamant about that.

Oh ok. There was a bit of confusion amongst journalists about it today. They hold some rights to it currently, which aren’t permanent and will revert back to him at some point.

I generally agree (and I think it goes for the ATP as well, perhaps even moreso). Although I do think Vekic is better on grass than she gets credit for. Svitolina, I just have no words.

Kei makes me want to come through the TV screen and throttle him. This should be a straight sets win for him.

I thought Christian could've beaten him had it not been for another injury. I am so over Kei.

Thiem retired from his match with Baghdatis. I wasn’t watching, but I was wondering why it was such a routine beatdown from Marcos.

Ebden also upset Goffin in straights, and barring a huge turnaround, Kvitova is about to go out with a third set bagel to Sasnovich. EDIT: Kvitova, the oddsmakers favorite, is out.

This Wimbledon is already sucking big time.
