I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I tell you the same people from the tennis world are destroying it. This is why the sport never grew and ratings have tanked.

I'm wondering if the issues Novak is having since the restart have to do with him having Covid? My cousin ..another one who survived it gets muscular discomfort because of covid.

Really good question. These lingering effects are really scary, even for people who didn’t have severe cases and are in way above-average condition.

Granted her opponent isn’t an elite player, but Swiatek is rolling.

Iga about to take this and I'm good with that because her game is really damn good!  I may have to watch the final (if I can find someone who has TC or ESPN).  Fingers crossed for Petra but Iga does not appear to be slowing down. Poor Aga.

 

Definitely watching men's final if it's Nadal/Djoker.  Already got a plan A, B & C!

I like Kenin but the Dad coaching is annoying.  I can't stand they're just willing to pay the fines and do it anyway.  Instead of the fines they should start docking points.  What did the one chair umpire say?  Something like, if you keep speaking in a language I don't understand I don't care what you said but it will be a violation.  Because they purposely switch to Russian when they both speak English.

I don't understand instead of fines, why don't they just bar him from attending?  You've done this 4 times and a 5th will likely happen in this match so instead of just fines - if you're caught 'x' number of times, you're barred from the stadium.  Decide and agree the number of times for coaching, and then enforce it.  Money is of no object at this point to them.

After the superb women’s matches in the USO semis, this is a letdown.
