Llanview Banner and Ravenbeauty on the Voy board are reporting that Langston is really connected to someone on the show; which explains the scene with Langston and Markko when they were talking about her parents (I was thinking divorce though). It's discovered that her parents died a year ago, and that she's been living on her own... Britney finds out and calls CPS/social services on her. There's a script for a social worker, who has been looking for her, finally finds her and confronts her about it. Cole, Starr, Markko, and Britney are also in the scene.

Langston will be adopted by a "colorful" resident (my guess: Roxy, as she's colorful [the site's word not mine], though I have to wonder how that was achieved) and she'll have a blood relative in Llanview; which I'm assuming is two different people. Though, I wouldn't be surprised if she was Roxy's niece... Rex's cousin... if Roxy does adopt her, and becomes attached to her.

So, does anyone know what family she'll be connected too? Will it be the usual ones: Lord, Buchanan, or Cramer...? Which would be more predictable than anything. The last mysterious people that showed up in town were related to them: Natalie, Adriana, and Spencer/David.

Maybe a Lawerence? I can see it being done to change Miles from "evil" to decent (showing his softer side)... and she'll be either Jessica's sister (if she's Mitch's daughter) or cousin (if she's Walker's daughter). Nash's or Talia's young cousin?

Or... goodness, , another McBain cousin? Shannon's younger sister? Or maybe related on Marcie's side. We don't know much about her mother, maybe Langston is her mother's sibling's child. If Marcie loses Tommy, they could have Langston related to her to deal with it all and her marriage to Michael.

Any other ideas... or maybe I'm just late about the news, and it's already been confirmed who it is.

Sounds kinda cool. It will be soap gold if they put Langston with Roxie. LOL

Dorian said something recently about Langston and asked is she was being neglected or something like that.

Though a huge gapping plot hole for me is how no one knew her parents died and that she was alone.

What if he she was related to Lindsay? I think that would be pretty interesting. Since Lindsay is getting some more airtime now with her killing Spencer, and Will's coming back, probably to defend his mom. Give Lindsay some family again, since Sam and Jen are dead.

I don't know... has anyone ever seen or met her parents? I don't remember if anyone has, I know when ever someone mentions it... she seems to make an excuse.

I remember seeing on the local news, how a girl (16) raised her younger sibling when their mother died, alone for two years. By the time it was discovered, she was 18 and was starting to fight the courts to take care of her sibling; because they wanted the kid in foster care.

I know, which why I intially had a problem with Langston being related to someone. But, in this case, it depends on who it is that she's related too. If it's the Buchanans, Cramers, or Lords then I have to roll my eyes again, because they are already connected in so many ways (also all the secret relatives is getting dumb) to half of Llanview that it's getting ridiculous.

She did have a sister, Melanie (I think that was her name). Though it would be interesting, I love Lindsay and Marcie's mother/daughter relationship a little more, because Marcie knew Jen and they were close in age.

Langston is really the only major teen whose home or family has never been seen...

Of course we know Starr and Cole's parents, but we have also seen Britney's parents a few times. We have even seen the inside of Markko's bedroom at his home, when he was singing and getting ready to go to the prom. But we have never even seen Langston's house, and you're right....she always seems to have a reason why we don't seem.

However, I love Langston and am very excited by this news.

Great a story for Langston. I like Langston and glad that she's gonna finally get a story, be related to another character and glad Roxy's gonna get more to do (hopefully, if Roxy's the one who adopts Langston).

Maybe Langston is related to Dorian? Dorian seemed concerned about her. That could be a really good storyline because Langston's always been quiet about her family.

I get the feeling since she's supposed to be spanish (or am I wrong?) she'll end up with Carlotta. I hate the Vega family more than any other family on any soap, but it could be a possibility!
