I can't be the only one lovin' today....:D

Knock me over with a feather, but Richard Culliton wrote it, and it's some of the best dialogue in a long time. Both Noah/Luke and Carly/Jack have deep, meaningful conversations....I haven't been a real supporter of the Nuke story, but I thought that discussion really put Noah's "crisis" in perspective for me.

And flovin' the Carjack talk. Carly called Jack on ALL of his defense mechanisms, and you could see the truth of it, as it cut through his bs. THAT is why they work. I'm so frickin' glad Carly's gonna let him come to her when he's ready. LOL....Katie is toast. :D :D :D :D

I agree PJ best friggin show in a long time. Totally loved the Carjack scenes, every Carjack fan must watch today's show, just great scenes. I totally loved the Lily and Dusty scenes, also the Luke and Noah scenes were great, though Noah is becoming more a jerk everyday, lol.

I also liked Henry/V....I was afraid we was gettin' a Janet Jackson moment there, with V's low-cut blouse givin' us almost everything but nipps. :o

LOL...I didn't think mayo and fries was an American thing?

And forgot to mention, Susan and Ali's talk. :)

LOL....OMG, today was the first time in a long time Carly finally made sense about her fling with Simon. It was insanity. Works for me!!!!

I loved the episode today.

Let me start off by saying I simple LOVE Vienna and Henry...I can't wait to see how Miss Vienna turns Al's into something only she can possible dream of.

Loved the Noah and Luke scenes...Noah is at his best, to be honest, when he's in scenes with Luke; not Maddie. Luke called him out on his reasons for wanting to have Maddie by his side; that fear of his father rang loud and clear when his father was running his mouth about 'sex with a woman.' I could tell right there that something must have went down between the two of them in the past that has him doing whatever not to have to deal with his father's constant negativity and put downs about not being a real man. It was great to see Luke lay all out on the line about why Noah's doing what he's doing.

In some ways it was a repeat of history for Luke, because he felt disapproval first hand by not only Lily but then also when Damien came back to Oakdale. I at first thought he would make mention of that to Noah, to get him to understand that he truly can see why Noah wants to please his father.

I'm going to say it; I'm actually liking seeing Dusty and Lily more in scenes; and I can tell right now that in the weeks/months to come, Holden once again will be in the middle while Lily is caught in another situation, but this time, rather than it being Keith it will be Dusty.

Now for CarJack....Jack might as well GIVE IT UP... he knows that Carly is on his mind...I bet when he looks in Katie's eyes, all he see's is Carly in his heart and in his mind. I loved when Jack said "It hurts when I lift my arms, can you please take my shirt off?" I just cracked up at the facial expression that Carly had for him.

Carly may be exhausting, but at least Jack knows that Carly loves him whole-heartedly. Katie loves the fact that someone is giving her attention; someone that she can claims she snatched up from someone else. The more Jack talks, the more all his insecurities and doubts pour from his lips. Didn't he do this song and dance before with both Julia's...Tell Carly he was in love with them and that they couldn't be together?

Oh, and PJ...didn't you just love those previews where Jack glared at both Meg and Craig and said "Come on in. We want to say 'thank-you'. The pure sarcasm from his lips made me cackle because I know that Craig and Meg are going to be mince meat when Carly faces them.

^^^I'm gonna love me tomorrow!!!! I've been drooling with anticipation for Carly/Craig scenes, and with Jack there???? OMG...I'll frackin' be in heaven!!!! I'm sure Jack's sarcasm will be saved for Craig...but it wouldn't hurt Meggie to get some aimed her way too. OOOoooohhhh....I hope Carly gets vicious with Craig and gets to throw Rosanna in his face! *giggle*

Well I LOVED todays show. All of it!! And that's saying something right there....lol. It's so funny that when Fluffy is eliminated from the Carjack storyline it just ROCKS! That was some great dialogue today between Jack and Carly. I loved it when she said I will wait for my 50 bucks...they are just awesome! Please let Fluffy stay gone for a while. Maybe some tropical storm could hit Hawaii?

Felt for Allison today. But really like Dusty with Lilly. Probably because there's so much history between the two so their dialogue makes sense and we care about them.

Liked the Luke and Noah stuff too. Was great to hear Noah trying to explain himself to Luke. This is going to be a great story I can tell already.

Looking forward to tomorrow,

I too loved today's show and thought it was one of the best in a long time! It definitely did my Carjack lovin' heart a lot of good! Those have to be some of the most fun scenes they have had in a long time! I too never thought Richard Culliton "got" Carjack but the dialog was excellent today! Outstanding scenes!

I also really loved Dusty/Lily! She seems so much stronger around Dusty and I am really looking forward to wherever they go with this story.

I was really happy to get a little better read on Noah today. I think that has really been lacking in this story and really enjoyed the Luke/Noah conversation today. I too wished Luke would bring up everything that happened with Lily/Damian and hope that will be discussed in future conversations.

I enjoyed Henry/Vienna too, even if that was a lighter scene.

The only time I found myself reaching for that remote was on the commercials and that was a true pleasure!

I just hate how Noah is all of a sudden gay with conflicted emotions on 'choosing' to 'stay' straight. I know we've talked about this before - but it doesn't do the gay community any justice when you try to show a straight audience that you've always been straight and then randomly one day you kiss a guy and are all torn up about it. Doesn't work that way...

Noah's need for secrecy is becoming useless every time he gets Luke alone for a kiss or a major revelation about his personal life, AT WORK IN AN OFFICE WITH THE DOOR WIDE OPEN. Damn, James Stenbeck could have overheard him and blackmailed the kid to hell and back by now.

The Carjack scene's were definitely incredible... I've been enjoying their scene's immensely over the last several days, and this coming from someone that has not always been a Carjack fan. And as a friend of mine pointed out while watching today, just when did Jack get so hot? ;)

Am I the only one picking up on the foreshadowing going on with Cheri? You have Dusty, Susan, Ali, Lily all being primed for a classic who-dunnit. My hope... that if that is the route they go with this, they choose to make Elwood the culprit, because I really can't deal with his character much anymore (not so much at the fault of the actor, but it seems like the writers go out of their way to make him an obnoxious jerk.)

I agree with SweetNyGirl about Noah being at his best when he's in scene's with Luke. Am I the only one who's skin begins to crawl as soon as Maddie enters the room... the tension is so thick you could cut it with a knife. I understand where Luke is coming from by trying to be protective of his friend, but ultimately it is up to Noah to figure out who he is on his own. You can't force someone to deal with things they aren't ready to deal with.

I've been consistently pleased this week... it's been the most solid week we've had in a while. Why do I fear that may all change as soon as Paul/Meg/Craig/Rosanna take center stage? For these being characters I once cared about a whole hell of a lot (or at least 3 out of 4 of them), now personally, I wouldn't mind if they all fell off a cliff in the Swiss Alps, and were never heard from again... or at least until November sweeps.

I love it when Richard Culliton writes! The dialogue is always so much better.

LOVED Henry and Vienna as usual, and cracked up at Vienna's reaction to the cheeseburger at the beginning.

The scenes between Luke and Noah were brilliantly written, IMO, and they just felt so real and natural. This is one story JP damn well better not screw up.

Carly and Jack had good scenes today too, with some classic CarJack dialogue...even though Jack's still an ass right now.

Chris Goutman, if you have any brains left, fire Passanante, and promote Culliton to HW!

    • Yes, of course, all of those servants added to the overall picture at AW & also people had relationships with those servants! I like it when Anita asks after one of the servants at the club, how their children are doing & like that.
    • Great scenes between Marlena and EJ today. Paula and Jeanne are making EJ have more depth than Ron had during his long drawn out tenure.
    • Might as well say it, Minority opinion, granted, but I like Joss & I'm okay with this WSB story & i hope that Emma will be their next recruit & she & Joss can be partners.
    • Thanks again @Paul Raven  The Arlene/Ben/Betsy triangle is one I wish I could see for myself as on paper it doesn't tend to excite me but I can see how well-constructed it was. I wish I could see the Rick/Meg relationship too, although I wish they'd had him genuinely fall for Meg after he gets together with Cal. The whole Brooke/Deacon/Bridget story on B&B was horribly damaging to Brooke as a character but it was dramatically very sound because I could completely believe Deacon would fall for messy and vulnerable Brooke after finally settling down with the more docile Bridget.

    • According to the head writer list, it seems the show may have started to fall apart while either the Schneiders or Upton were writing.  And when it started to crumble, it crumbled fast.  It was sad to see everything Labine had brought to LOL be disassembled.

Welcome back!!! And I see Abe and Paulina got a new apartment too, which is just a redress of John/Marlena’s, Steve/Kayla’s, etc. But it looks kinda nice. And I enjoyed his scenes with Chanel. It added another perspective to everything that’s been going on with her and Johnny. And Abe using his own history with Lexie to comfort Chanel was a good idea. Plus, it also provided us with more suspicion/red herring about Johnny possibly shooting EJ. I’m looking forward to see what happens between her and Johnny. And I’m so glad that the two of them are on the frontburner now.  Speaking of Johnny, I still have no problem with him going to work for Titan. The drama could be so good, especially once EJ finds out. To me, it seems like another realistic reaction to everything that’s been happening to Johnny lately. It doesn’t seem random and over the top either. And I like that they remembered to have Johnny tell Xander that he has no corporate experience whatsoever. Surprisingly, the two of them work well together. And so do Carson and Deidre. I love how the Marlena/Johnny relationship has been featured so much.  Kayla was still strong and kicking ass today too. The writer change has helped her/Mary Beth so much. But I do admit we should’ve seen Steve trying to get into Dr. Russell’s lab rather than Kayla instructing him over the phone.  And unfortunately, Chad and Cat still don’t seem to be doing much for me though. The cliffhanger was ok too.   Btw, Days was trending at #4 this morning on Peacock
