August 20, 200718 yr Author Member Oh good...I got Alvin off my back and onto Jay's. I dont want Felicia or Gary anywhere near ATWT....LOL.
August 20, 200718 yr Member Oh good...I got Alvin off my back and onto Jay's. I dont want Felicia or Gary anywhere near ATWT....LOL. You must want JFP then, so she can wreck yet another P&G serial. Better yet, you can have John Velente back. LOL! Tell us, who do you want? Edited August 20, 200718 yr by Y&RWorldTurner

October 2, 200718 yr Member Replacements for Christopher Goutman should be... Michael Laibson, Jean Dadario Burke, Deborah Joy Levine, Vivian Gundaker, Lindsley Parsons III (http://us.imdb.com/name/nm0663764/), Ginger Smith, Susan Bedsow Horgan (underrated)
October 2, 200718 yr Member I have an idea. Let's have AMC and ATWT switch executive producers. AMC can have Goutman (he rocked as a director there and he directed the tornado scenes which won AMC the Emmy in 1995 for Outstanding Drama Series Directing Team) and ATWT can have the hack Carruthers

She was fine on PC but not so good on AMC. I know she never produced anything but if she wasn't in retirement I'd pick Agnes Nixon.
October 2, 200718 yr Member AGnes was for a time EP for AMC and OLTL I think--at the least AMC (co producer?) when Creative Horizons owned it
October 2, 200718 yr Member Now you admit that. Yeah, but he was only a director on Passions, he had little to no input in material he was hired to direct. Gary Tomlin has talent but I think tends to prefer his soaps a little campy-- I think a big reason that OLTL when he was EP was pretty campy was not because of co HW Lorraine Broderick--who usually ISN"T very campy, but because of Tomlin's influence. yah it had some moments but I dont' think that's the direction OLTL needed (thought Rauch had taken it ther ebefore) or the direction for ATWT. Looking at his past major shows--Sunset Beach, the brilliant but often campy Santa Barbara and I see a trend...
October 2, 200718 yr Member AGnes was for a time EP for AMC and OLTL I think--at the least AMC (co producer?) when Creative Horizons owned it Never knew that. I knew she did Creative Horizons (AMC and OLTL) and Dramatic Creations (Loving and The City.) She could fire JP and bring in a great writer! Like I said before I wish she wasn't retired or else she would show the genre how good she really is.
October 2, 200718 yr Member To the original post= sorry Ron, but NO. If Chris Goutman had enough good sense to marry & remain married to Marcia McCabe, obviously he's doing something RIGHT!!!!!! He's a great producer. I think maybe a swap would be good though. You know, Ellen Wheeler at ATWT & Chris Goutman at GL?!!!?
October 2, 200718 yr Member If Goutman was to fire Jean and replace her with a talented HW, I would like him again. That's all it would take for me. However since he's such good friends with JP (just as Wheeler is with Kreizman on GL), and too blind to see what she's doing to the show, I would want him to be fired.
