I thought he deserved his own thread. Since he is equally responsible for the mess ATWT is in. Who do you want as new EP at ATWT?

Frank Valentini.

He is worse than Christopher Goutman. :P He hired Mikey only because of his looks. :P

LOL! I love how you had to make a thread for Goutman too, Ron.

Personally, I think that P&G should've never gotten rid of Felicia Menei Behr, just to have Goutman switch over to ATWT, when AW was axed.

If Robert Calhoun came back to soaps, I'd want him back on ATWT. He was responsible for golden eras at both ATWT and GL. however, I don't see that happening any time soon.

Jay would kill me for this because he's probably want her back at OLTL, but I think Linda Gottlieb would be great at ATWT. She was fantastic on OLTL in the early 90's. I'm sure, if given the chance she'd do wonders on ATWT as well. Gary Tomlin would be another fantastic choice and I'm sure he'd inject some of his trademark humor into the show.

Suds you crack me up. These anti ATWT threads are popping up every where and that's why I don't want to watch. As far as EP's, Gary Tomlin is good, Wendy Riche, or how bout, Steve Wyman, lol?

Would you look at that. Me and Y&R Worlds Turns agree on something re: Gary Tomlin <_<

Gottlieb would be good for , but Tomlin, I don't think so. I think his humor is a good thing, but I dont think it would fit with ATWT.....Hey WHAT THE HELL Alvin???? You think I want everyone back at OLTL or somethin? :)

I disagree, Tomlin was once head writer on another traditional P&G soap, Search For Tomorrow. If he could pull off his creative vision on that show, I'm sure he can adjust to ATWT.

ETA: P&G also wanted Tomlin to replace Paul Rauch on GL in 2003, but plans fell through. I'm sure they'd be interested in him for ATWT, if the opportunity presented itself.

So, JFP was once a good EP. Gary Tomlin last worked on freaking Passions. Too silly and he probably got spoiled with the silliness of the show. I dont think he could do it, without changing ATWT.

Now you admit that. :P

Yeah, but he was only a director on Passions, he had little to no input in material he was hired to direct.
