What? They've been married for years.

Remember, he's not on-camera, so I'd only know of soap couplings I don't watch - if they're on-camera. The DePaivas, for instance, are a dead giveaway. But if you didn't know Ed from Adam, you wouldn't make the connection between the "Scotts."

Please, OverItAll, YOU rock. That signature is to DIE FOR. Would you mind if I used it in everyday language, outside the net? I love it! So witty. It'd make the PERFECT word art for my office.

I would have respect for some of these obsessive fans if they said, "I only watch for Deidre Hall; I want Marlena to be the main character. I will hate any character that takes the spotlight off of her, and any actor who says anything positive about the show, while Marlena isn't center stage." But that will never happen! lol

I would have respect for obsessive fans that bash other fans if they admitted that they are biased against that fan base and that actress.

Glad those losers made their board private. Now they can bask in their Deidre love and hate on everyone else in private......I did like reading the day ahead previews, but that was the only draw to the board for me..And honestly i don't care, i will blatantly bash those bitches..I've had a problem with their antics for 5 or 6 years now, just never had the opportunity to voice that...

oh, you're so much better than the rest.

I really have never said i was better than anyone..Maybe its just time for these narrow minded fans to realize they can bash the writing, the direction, the other characters, the lack of airtime...but not the other actors who are just doing their job...

Hmm, well, I have nothing against Deidre Hall, but I think a majority of her fans that post on her board are nuts. If that makes me biased against the fan base, then, ok lol

This whole situation exhibits why fanbases are killing Days. These are probably the same fans that made a big deal out of a bedroom set back in February.

It's sad how something so positive and hopeful was turned into something as ugly as this. SN was simply trying to inform his fans and fans of the show of what was going on and was giving a message that inspired hope and yet some have to turn it into a fanbase war yet again. I am sure Deidre wouldn't endorse this at all. It's appalling, just like the bedroom set incident and some of the things that were said about Steve/Kayla fans back then.

I get that J&M fans are frustrated but it's incidents like this that prevent me from feeling bad. They have a history of pulling stuff like this. I remember in 2005 when SOW covered a story where someone was harassed for being a Jate fan. I am not saying it's all J&M fans but it's the usual bad apples that make the whole bunch seem rotten. I was and kind of still am a J&M fan but this would make me embarrassed to be one. This makes me sick. It really does.

It must be an anti-diva thing. Some fans will forever hate on the stars that have gotten more exposure, bigger press, and are more popular in general, because their B-list favorites aren't leading the show. That's why Deidre Hall, Kim Zimmer, Susan Lucci, etc. will always be crapped on just for breathing.

True enough Gray Bunny. It's kind of sad.

Okay, that's nice. But why would rabid fans' chatter be a reflection of an actor? Why single out Dee when this happens to nearly ALL actors? *That* was my legit point. There's no reason to single out Deidre Hall and try to make her look guilty or negligent of what "her" fans are saying about other co-stars, when this happens all the time, everywhere, on any show. There's no need to take Dee to task for what fans are saying.

It was obvious that was the posters full intent. To somehow make this about the actor. Shame.

I don't think I explained myself clearly. I don't blame Deidre Hall for this at all; it's not her fault what is being said. But I do think it isn't a good represntation of her, and if she knows about it, she should stop it. And Deidre isn't being singled out, I don't go to any other "fan boards," so I don't know what is being said. Ultimately, it's a shame when an actor is happy at his workplace and has some positive things to say about changes on a show that is clearly having major problems, and he is personally attacked. How can anyone defend that!?

If you don't go to other fan sites, like the S&K fan site that bashes Deidre, then you shouldn't single out one incident and one actor when clearly it happens to all actors.

Thank you, yeah, the smiley face should have indicated that I wasn't trying to bash anyone.

Your comment was insensitive and not very nice. That's how I read it.

I would think Deidre would be really embarrased, considering she works with the actors that are being attacked. Staci Greason, Lauren Koslow, Elieen Davidson, Kristian Alfonso, Evans and Nichols, Alison Sweeney have all been victims of it.

Hey Gray Bunny!

Nice to see you around again. I hope you've been doing alright.

I don't think Goldylicious meant anything bad by his statements. He apologized and hopefully he won't do it again.

Where is this apology?
