Ya know? I mean damn, we are never going to be able to be as good as the "best times" because those were the "best" times. [!@#$%^&*], at least they tried. We could have just gotten a funeral with no Joey, or Kevin,or Chord, and we really got treats with Max and Alex. We got flashbacks and history mentions. I agree, this should have been a weeklong event, but it wasn't and the show gave me all that I could ask for and I am satisfied with it.

ITA Jay! Great post!

They could have filled half the show with John talking to his dead daddy, but they didn't.

They could have had Cole screaming out every other line, but they didn't.

They could have had Marty whining about everything again.

They could have had Nash and Jessica sexing things up again.

They could have had cardboard Cristian Vega moping around Capricorn, but they didn't.

Instead they had a Buchanan family reunion, with flashbacks, nods to past history, and a show packed with veterans.

Jay is right, the "good ole days" may be gone, but this was about as close as you can get to it these days.

Apparently people would rather watch John, Marty, Adriana, and Cole.

Well I'm supposed to get my prescription but if they don't get it ready, maybe you could call it in and do a little bit of doctor work today :)
