It will be interesting to see how the chemistry is between Aaron/Ali. I've been pleasantly surprised with Dusty/Ali and like that much more than Dusty/Emily and really hope that if it is not set in stone to do part 2 of Aaron/Ali that they give Dusty/Ali a chance. I'm really curious what they plan to do with Aaron since there really have been no spoilers about it.

Why is that Dusty is always this big hero?? He does not need a new woman and we do need that spoiler above re:Aaron! Dusty and Emily are okay...have they address the fact that Em held him captive last year??

Addressed Dusty/Em's history....eh, not so much. Or not to the depth it needed to be for me to believe he'd truly forgiven her enough to even GAS about her hooking her way through Oakdale.

Bless Scott Bryce, but this blows. I've been kind of straddling the fence on Marie Wilson, but she's totally out of her depth, not that the writing has helped her anyway. This plot is pure insanity. And throwing in Meggie offering herself up to Craig? BARF. (A Kack of 8.5 on the barf-o-meter.)

I FLOVED Holden's reaction to this mess however. He gets on the phone with Lucinda, and she hangs up. ROTFLMAO.

Someone needs to get Alison a new haircut. It's distracting to have that hank of hair ala Veronica Lake in her face all the time.

Y'know...I think Dusty/Ali could work. Ali's young, but she's gained a maturity through her experiences. Both Lucy's were too-goody goody to really work with Dusty's penchant for underhandedness. And Emily literally treated him like a dog.

Was Paul on today? Carly?

And if theres one thing I don't like about the new Alison its her hair. Its just really stringy and not that cute. I would love to see her sporting some curls. Add a lil product. Create a lil bounce in there.

Instead it just hangs off her head like a mop or something....

I think Marie Wilson is one of the better female actors on the show. She always moves me when shes in an intense scene and I'm sure today will be no different.

I DVR'd it so I can't really say what I feel about today. Still working my way thru Days. Then Y&R and finally the best for last hopefully.

    • While I do love the chaotic energy that is Kat vs Lesile, it is a bit extra. Sheltered, virginal Kat who plays it safe from her man to her wardrobe understands that Leslie is dangerous, but she's out here showing up everywhere and anywhere that Lesile is to be found and actively going to places where she is alone? I mean Kat doesn't even act a little afraid or intimidated by Leslie. Meanwhile, big Ole Derek out here begging for his and Ashley's life to Jacob.  As for Dani, I didn't see it that way. Dani and Bill were together for 30 years and shared a family. I believe there was real love there at one point. Bill is still an ass and Dani is still crazy, but realizing she may lose him and her daughter's may lose their dad definitely struck a chord.
    • Funny I randomly saw Kami’s lengthy post about the 44th anniversary of the Walton’s finale last week pop up in my news feed on Facebook. A few inaccuracies to her post but overall it was pretty insightful and interesting to read.
    • Well, depending on rewrites...Jennifer Richards potentially slept with Brandon and Alan. It does feel like we're forgetting someone, but then again, maybe I'm confusing that with brothers, which would include a lot more.
    • Maybe it’s me, and the fact that RC isn’t at the helm, but since Cwikly and Ford have taken over I’ve noticed the show doing a lot of things differently directing wise, and since the storyline of John’s demise began, the show has been using different scores, and dare I say better ones than this time last year. It’s interesting and I wonder if the any of it is Noel Maxam’s influence before being promoted.
    • I think Nicole is about to figure out what's going on between Andre and Dani.
    • @Efulton thank you. I don't know how I missed it or didn't recall it.  I'll blame amnesia . Anyway @Errol Could the newer thread be merged to the existing? Thanks in advance.
    • I just finished watching and I have to admit, not once did I find myself wondering who wasn't there. Quick question for anyone who followed this better than I did: was it only Andrew who rescued Cat and John from Clyde, or was Shane involved too? The reactions during their scenes today felt a little off to me. I know it was meant to be vague, but I didn't find it strange that they already knew each other.
    • Yeah, financially, Luna is in better shape than Deacon and Sheila.   -- Scott Clifton must have decided to chew the scenery in every scene of this "Liam is Dying" storyline. Yikes.
    • If J.R. wasn't busy with Ewing Oil, he'd be a heckuva soap recapper. He was SO gleeful at recapping Jenna-Bobby-Pam when the trio and Mark encountered each other at the Oil Baron's Ball. That being said, Lucy, presumably Sue Ellen and maybe Ray should all know this story, or at least part of it. Lucy was definitely at Southfork during Jenna and Bobby's relationship, and I believe Sue Ellen was about to marry J.R. around the time Jenna jilted Bobby. (Ray might not have given a damn.)
