This will give Paul a huge story - for two days that is. Then April will start glamling with Billy and be gone after three weeks. End of story. *rolls eyes*

Even if Heather becomes a major teen character, she will be poorly written, probably too old and Paul won't have a major part to the story.

Without her Paul and Maggie should be a major couple considering they've been established for months now. Why the hell doesn't a SOAP OPERA showcase it's couples?!

Paul avoided all responsibility until Heather became sick.

Paul married April.

Paul/April divorced.

April & Heather subsequently moved to NY.

April married the abusive Dr. Rob.

Paul began to feel wistful about Heather.

April visited GC (much to the delight of Paul & Mary) but she returned to NY.

Paul visited April in NY where she eventually told him about the abuse.

April chose to stay in NY despite Paul's misgivings.

April visited GC again (at Paul's behest) & attended spousal abuse meetings.

April chose to remain with Rob & went back to NY.

Rob beat the tar outta April & she fled to Mary's.

Rob angrily visited GC too & April eventually killed him after a particularly vicious argument/beating.

April was arrested & charged with murder (which subsequently caused Heather to visit GC).

April avoided jail time via suspended sentence.

April & Heather (who still didn't know about Paul) then returned to NY.
