Earlier today, I reported on Adrianne Leon's sad revelation that she was abruptly fired from her role as Colleen Carlton on The Young and the Restless.

Well, the CBS sudser has just issued a recast announcement!

Australian actress Tammin Sursok is the new Colleen. Sursok's first tape date is Tuesday, June 26. She will first air on Monday, July 30.

The 23-year-old Sursok is best known as Dani Sutherland on the long-running Aussie soap Home and Away. She won Australian TV Week's Logie Award for best new female talent in 2001.

The Y&R folks seem fond of casting Aussie suds stars these days. FYI, Daniel Goddard (Cane) is also a former Home and Away castmember.

I'M still sick of the Adrienne Leon firing. This show - or better its producer - is so evil and clueless.

As for AMber: I'm also one of those who liked her on B&B. Yet, her worst LA moment was better than anything she did in Genoa City. LML is totally ruining the character and she is the epitome of painful drivel.

Co-sign to everything. I was wishing for Heather to come back for ages but now now. Victoria Newman, like the Y&R is dead and will continue to be dead under the hell on wheels writing regime of Lynn Marie Latham.
