Why was marcie all up in the musical, I thought it was just the highschool kids singing???? An star isn't the best singer I thought her friend and the girl that plays britney sang better than her. The dancing was horrific, but I actually liked the singing. An must blair always sing when theres singing????

Good lord.....an hour I'll never get back.....

That makes two of us.

OLTL is a soap opera..not actual Opera.

It's not something I'd want more than once, but it wasn't bad. Cole really has no ability. I thought KA was very good and has a very nice voice. The young women who play Brittney and the other teen girl are also good. Some of those kids -- not the regular stars -- appear to have some training. They were very fine dancers and athletic.

So yeah, it not bad for a few days. I don't want OLTL to turn into Frankie's song and dance hour, but it's different and I like that the show took a chance.

Thank God  . I think its pretty good, but a whole show for 4 days with nothing but that crap, would kill me.

I'd like it cuz then I could just delete those episodes, instead of having to ff to get to the 10 mins of stuff I actually care about like I did today.:lol: Oh well, if it works to pull in some younger viewers I can deal, but I truly hate all this musical/prom nonsense.

the songs were all too much the same -- S-L-O-W to the nth degree, with no lift or energy.

even the dance number was like a mid-tempo ballad, for god's sake. it was train wreck television.

This is totally random and very off-topic, but when I saw the title of the thread, I thought of the "Prom Night Dumster Baby" gag on Family Guy...

I think that OLTL is trying to capitalize on the "High School Musical" craze.

Oh, and does anyone else find it funny that they are doing this story without Jonathan Groff, a TONY nominee?

I have to admit, I actually skipped most of this weeks episodes because of this prom musical crap, but I decided to put on Friday's episode and for some reason, I actually enjoyed it. Yes, most of the singing was medicore, the choreographing was pretty awful, but I did think the songs were well written. I also enjoyed the scenes between Kassie DePaiva and Kristen Alderson. They were touching. Brandon Buddy needs to build his confidence. He wasnt horrible, he just sounded timid. I'm actually looking forward to Monday's show.
