Does it make a difference if you boycot Y&R if you aren't part of the nielsen ratings system? I watch Y&R live occasionally, but don't have a nielsen diary or box. I've been thinking about writing CBS about the state of the show, but don't know if that will make any difference.

QUOTE(Chris B @ Jun 4 2007, 12:35 PM)
Plus I will forever think that Victoria Rowell's exit (and backburning Kristoff/Bryton) has caused the black viewers to leave in droves.

Well...there you have it.

The naked truth.

It's the only demographic that tanked and the number of losses are huge.

Not to mention Lynn doesn't know what the hell she's doing OTHERWISE.

But....(Bette Davis smirk)....you didn't hear that from me.

Far be it from me that you smart people should...countenance...the help.

I stop watching after I heard they let Davetta go. I couldn't even watch Davetta last weeks on the show. The problem with soaps in general is that they new fresh bloods who can bring different nationalies. Soaps are stuck in a time zone that people just want to see one group of race. america suppose to be this melting pot but they are afraid to put all the ingredients in one pot.

Specking of congested Kalill why can't they tell her to blow her nose before every scene. At least one good blow from her nose.

I can't boycott Y&R. It's a 20 year habit and I'm hooked, but I'm not watching same day for the summer.

Brad sure didn't waste anytime kicking Vicky to the curb did he? That man has some nerve. Maybe he should have given Abby a thought when he was screwing Sharon. I have to admit Brad has had some homorous lines recently. DD does sarcasm better than emotion. How I pray this baby is JT's, but it's not possibly to know is it? I could have sworn Vikki did Brad in the boardroom  (why god) and then JT a couple of days later. I hope Victoria undermines him at Newman every chance she gets.

I'm sure Gloria won't really pay, but I'm ok with that. I want her to stay on the show. It's enough for me that the truth eventually comes out and that Will annuls the marriage. She's so close to that billion dollars, I bet she can taste it. BTW, how silly is it that William is a billionare and still works as DA? As if criminals don't have enough incentive to come after a DA. Will and everyone he knows would have to have 24 hours bodyguards.

Well, it's official.

In my opinion, this show is officially [!@#$%^&*].

I FF through 90% of the last 3 episodes, and it has truly hit the bottom of the barrel. Phyllis has now been reduced to taking pratfalls?! Just to stay in Jack's house? Wow, that was some greiving process.

Victor loses his son in a plane crash, and to grieve.....he goes looking for his other son, who has barely seen his whole life? Neil and Lily have just now mentioned Dru being gone, but it came off like she was on a trip and would be returning any day. That is on top of the fact that Lily is tripping off of Daniel's porn fetish more than the death of her mother.

Gloria is about to get busted.....oh, but wait. We all know something will happen to derail this often heard promise once again.

And who gave Brad the right to be pissed off at Victoria?! He acts like the person who has been injured, once again forgetting that it was HE would slept with Sharon. He is now that show's biggest A-hole, but that seems to be the way LML wants it.

TPTB better step in and soon. This show is crashing and burning around them.

:D I want to marry that post! It makes me sick how Dru is all but forgotten....

Dru is off buying hats in Paris at least you'd think so by the reactions of those close to her. And what the hell happenend to Neil's struggle with drinking?

date: Monday, June 9 | Teresa Zimmerman, Lynn Martin | Steven Williford YAY! Caroline is back in action at the law offices. I adore Caroline! She is a woman of business, and she handles her business quite well. Could this be the chance for Tomas to move ahead at Bill Hamilton Esq.? Madison is doing the usual tests for strokes: smiling, holding out the hands, etc., but I do wonder if she'll have him touch the tip of her finger and then the tip of his nose. That one is not easy at all. Trust me, I know! It's about time Derek becomes useful: helping to take down Dana by witnessing her interrogation of Ashley at Orphey Gene's. Oh, Nicole is showing up to question Eva, re: her interactions with Laura. This will either be a bitchfest or it'll be a heartfelt one. Cantankerous? Yes, Ashley! Call it like you see it! Is Tomas working with Katherine to set up Dana? I pray he is!! Child bride needs to calm her ass down; now she's hugging Naomi as if they're besties again? This isn't your "get out of jail" card, sweetheart. The weight that I am sure is now lifted from Eva's shoulders with Nicole accepting her apology? I love that for her. And I am sure, deep down, it helps Nicole to accept and hear it, as well. Dani showing up for Bill and their children? That's love right there, and you can tell how much it not only means for Bill but might also be reminding him of why he fell in love with her. Watch out, child bride; your time might be up by mid-summer! Katherine, you are sneaky... but I do have this sneaking suspicion this is going to blow up right back into your face before you know it. The awkward face-to-face with Chelsea and Madison. Dani introducing herself as "the first wife" is hilarious. I love it. Chelsea and Madison openly flirting in the hospital by the elevator is super cute!! Notes: Trisha Mann-Grant (Dana) continues to serve up the right amount of camp for American daytime. She's almost too good for daytime. I appreciate the new viewpoint of the outside of Dana's apartment. Nice that we can get these viewpoints that other soaps wouldn't dare to explore. Tide is seen in the scene; Tide commercials air right after. Today's jacket on Alex Alegria (Tomas) fits better than the past few he's worn. Hoping this trend continues.

Chelsea you are acting like a psycho. This woman is at WORK. STOP IT! Not to mention she just learned her dad had a stroke and she is more worried about getting laid

Leslie to Kat: "The only branch that I want is the one that goes across your behind for your insolence" LOL...if Leslie was her stepmother, she'd have whooped her disobedient azz
    • I continue to love any Kat and Leslie scenes together haha.
    • I really love Chelsea's eyerolls.  At Dani last week, and at Hayley today.
