ALL MY CHILDREN EPISODE COUNT

All My Shadows inquired in this month's episode count thread about seeing how many episodes Alicia Minshew (Kendall) has been in since she debuted. Well I knew I had a compiled list somewhere on my hard drive and I found it. I did it at the end of 2005, so I just added in 2006 and 2007 counts! And sure enough Alicia is #1 ;) If they didn't get 50 episodes or more I didn't count them.

ETA: I've decided to include below the actors name what years they were active in episode.

I hate to sound mean or rude or just cruel, but....well....I rest my mother-[!@#$%^&*] case. Welcome to The Kendall Hart Show, everybody. I can literally say that if you randomly pick out any episode of AMC from the last five and a half years, 9 out of 10 times, Kendall is featured in the episode.

Hayley and Mateo left in December 2002. I want to say that it was befor Christmas, but something is telling me that it was actually between Christmas and New Years.

AMS, no doubt Kendall/Alicia airs a lot. But I have to bring up that we have to consider departures or when an actor began airing - which basically means Alexa/Babe and Jacob/JR especially, along with Cameron/Ryan and Rebecca/Greenlee air a lot as well.

For example when you averge these numbers out by years on the show (not considering 2007):

1. Kendall Hart Slater (Alicia Minshew)- 1139

I'm going to subtract 93 episodes for 2007 = 1046 DIVIDED BY 5 Years = 209 episodes a year = 4 episodes a week

5. Babe Chandler (Alexa Havins)- 735

I'm going to subtract 30 episodes for 2003 (she aired for 3 months) and her 95 episodes for 2007 = 610 DIVIDED BY 3 Years = 203 episodes a year = 4 episodes a week

7. J.R Chandler (Jacob Young)- 716

I'm going to subtract 30 episodes for 2003 (he aired for 3 months) and his 88 episodes for 2007 = 598 DIVIDED BY 3 Years = 199 episodes a year = 4 episodes a week

6. Greenlee Lavery (Rebecca Budig)- 732

I'm going to add 18 episodes for December 2005, so 732 + 18 = 750 DIVIDED BY 4 Years = 188 episodes year = 4 episodes a week

Now let's consider Tad/Michael, the highest ranked vet, in 3rd place on that list:

3. Tad Martin (Michael E. Knight)- 790

I'm going to subtract his 80 episodes from 2007 = 710 DIVIDED BY 5 Years = 142 episodes a year = 3 episodes a week

ETA: 19, if you get a chance could you see if you have Cam's 2002 and 2003 count numbers?

I considered that, because you're right. Everyone in the top 10 except for Tad, Erica, and Jack, either came, left, or did both within 2002-2007. But, I mean, wow, the space between Kendall and Ryan is 293. The next spacing that comes even close to that is the one between Zach and Simone, which is 73. It should also be worth noting that there are many cast members on the show who have been on it throughout the whole 2002-2007 period, but they are still hundreds of episodes below Alicia. Anybody who ever gets the audacity to complain that Kendall (and/or Zach) has been on the backburner before needs to be shown this constantly until they stop spouting the lies.

Not addressing that to anyone in particular, by the way, just saying it in a general sense.

And Kendall/AMC. 1/8/02 is close enough to 1/2/02.

That's why I put Tad in the calculation, 3rd place. Alicia's main claim to being front-burner queen is she hasn't left the show, but everybody I mentioned is airing in a yearly average promixity to be over 200 episodes above Tad - who is in 3rd place on that list. Tad/Michael averages 142 episodes a year for 2002-2006, Alexa/Babe 203 episodes for 2004, 2005, 2006. 180 episodes more than MEK for just 3 years, if she had started in Jan 2002 and kept that pace from the start it would have been 300 episodes more than MEK.

I'd never dream to say Alicia/Kendall is on the backburner or Ryan, or Babe, or JR, or Greenlee, or yes Zach too. I don't begrudge anybody for saying it if there's a month that any of them air in say 5 episodes, but these are actors/characters who have 99% of the time been on the stove on high heat since they came on the show. I don't necessarily see people saying any of these guys are backburned, maybe I'm not looking. Maybe that they're used as heavily featured props (instead of just heavily featured) occasionally for certain stories/characters, yes (which is true occasionally).

I have no doubt in my mind at all that if Alexa had been on the show since January 2002, she'd definitely be up there close to or maybe even higher than Alicia. I could only imagine what the list would be like if Alexa, Eden, and Rebecca were all on for the entire period like Alicia was. I think they'd all be in a four-way catfight for first place.

I agree, except for one thing (well two - add Cam and Jacob)... As much as ABCD/AMC loves Eden, because of the sexual orientation, she'd have eventually fallen into probably Tad territory - unless they could have come up with 5 years straight of victimization story (that avoided her sexuality, which they probably would have tried to, lol) or changed her sexuality (which they almost did, IMO).

I don't believe Eden was airing as much as she did during the Cambias story/babyswitch story in 2002 and the first half of 2003. I could be wrong, because I wasn't 100% watching again until early 2003.

Eden Riegel was only in 89 episodes in 2002.

For the first part of 2003 until McTavish came aboard Eden was middle of the pack.

Angela, Cameron Mathison's 2002 count was 85 episodes, and his 2003 count was 86.

Alicia really hasn't had a break since she came to the show. Her lowest monthly number according to my record is 11. She hit that twice in 2002 and once in 2003. Since then her lowest has been 14!
