Another awesome episode!

Discuss!

Don't read below if you haven't watched it yet.

I loved all of the Brady's gathering at the Brady Pub! That hasn't happened in a long time. The only thing that would've made that nicer would've been to have Shawn and Caroline return from their "break". The Sami and John scene was wonderful beyond words. It was a clear indication that Sami is changing, and they can have a solid father-daughter relationship. As well, its great to have the classin duo - Bo and John, working together again, with their sidekicks Hope and Marlena.

I was very surprised that EJ wasn't even slightly pissed at Sami for allowing the entire Brady clan to fight out about the return of Tony and Stefano, and what they were after. He genuinely cares for Sami, and judging by how she was reacting to EJ being taken to the police station, she feels much the same way. I think the ending of Sami/Lucas is sooner than imaginable.

I cannot believe Phillip! This past little while, I began thinking maybe he really wanted to be close to his daughter, but after today, its evident, it was about Belle all along. I hate Willow with a passion, but I hope Shawn takes her advice and keeps an eye on Phillip. Moving into the mansion will be a huge bonus for Phillip. I still think Victor has Claire, but Phillip's latest plans are going to interfere with Victor's.

Willow's apartment looks familiar. Isn't it the same one Nicole had?

Overall, one of the better episodes of the past week or two ... and it has been amazing lately.

Claire speculation:

I just thought of an alternative if Victor really doesn't have Claire. Maybe its Tony! Since his plan backfired and he didn't get the stem cells, he may use Claire as a bargaining tool. The offer would be, returning Claire in exchange for Baby DiMera's stem cells.

Now, that I would like to see.

I think that was the most shocking moment of his life.

The girl who pledged undying hatred for you is now telling you how much she loves you and is sorry for all the things she did.

I would have fainted.

I didn`t get why Caroline or Shawn could be there, Hogan could at least make them appear sometimes, but then again i guess they think they are too old, and that`s terrible if thats the case. This is actually strange, you now i watch a little bit of the us episodes for fun and then i`m watching the 2003 eps back home, at this time i would say the 2007 are just as bad as 2003, but with Lexie, Anna, Stefano coming back it might be getting better on the show. Greetings.

LoL! I just finished the episode.

Cracks me up how suddenly everyone's all obsessed with the origins of the Brady/DiMera feud. No, I can't see where THIS is going... *sarcasm end*

Great show! May is ending on a VERY high note...this is easily the best month of the year so far!

I will post more later.

Glad that Shawn Sr. is on tomorrow (which implies Caroline will be too most likely).

Also...I am going to LOVE this DiMera/Brady storyline...cannot wait for Stefano to come face to face with all of them aghain!

I'm hoping this summer will be the final interaction between the Brady's and DiMera's. It would be an awesome storyline for the Brady's to finally figure out what the DiMera's have against them, and have a full, gruesome war to put this to an end.

Deidre and Alison need to stand up to their hair stylist after today's show. Those aren't flattering...

I enjoy having Tony back so freaking much. He's so arrogant. I love it!

Willow's transformation into Nicole Walker is finally complete. Right before she is taken off the show, they give her Nicole's old apartment. :)

We've had a week of nothing but slaps on this show. Hope slapped Willow. Sami slapped EJ, several times. Belle slapped Shawn. The women on this show are taking charge!

    • Yes, they did.  I still have them.  I think there were three.  AMC and GH as well.
    • Ah okay, thats what I thought. I was hoping I missed the announcement somewhere. Thanks for the clarification.
    • A new day in Salem… and a new day for Days.  I like the way everybody found out and absorbed the news about John’s death, and how they all eventually found their way to Marlena’s to offer their condolences. I’m not particularly sure why they waited until the next day to tell everybody but I don’t really mind it.  We finally got Roman’s perspective! His scenes with Kayla were one of the best parts of today. I’m glad that Roman is thankful for everything that John did for his kids. I agree with posters who said that he should’ve had a scene like this with John, but I’m happy we got this at least.  Julie was used very well today too. She’s definitely the best person for Marlena to have scenes with at the moment. Hopefully, Julie continues to be there for her. And yes, I totally agree with Marlena and Belle sending EJ away when he came to the apartment. I’m curious to see what’s going to happen to his and Belle’s relationship in the aftermath of all this. And, while I enjoyed most of Brady and Kristen’s scenes, I still think the ship has sailed for them. Hopefully, the aftermath of John’s death causes Brady to finally end this thing with her once and for all.  And, I see a lot of people were wearing some kind of shade of purple today.

    • Wow, I love that current and former actors are participating in this. I barely recognize Staci Greason! She looks fine, just very different. But I will be happy to hear anecdotes from her. I shipped RoJohn and Isabella hard back in the day, and I sobbed buckets in my dorm room at college when Izzy B passed. Honestly, I'm interested in everyone's stories. Drake seemed like he was well loved among the cast.
    • When she first appeared, I was sure she was setting Tyrell up for a prank. She was too much of a manic pixie dream girl- I wasn't surprised Tyrell also became suspicious. Now I'm not so sure. If Jessica genuinely likes Tyrell, it seems like a missed opportunity to not have started her out as a bully, then we see her gradually catch feelings for Tyrell.  The McBrides are definitely the "C" family of BTG. They always get last priority. There have been a few times where the Doug/Vanessa/Joey characters reference off screen conversations which seem too important to not show us. Like when Doug thanked Joey for giving him extra time to pay off the loan. When did that happen? Or when we abruptly moved from Vanessa/Joey at Uptown to Vanessa/Doug in the hotel room. The McBrides don't even have their own set - even though Vanessa is a realtor. It's a shame because I am a fan of the characters and actors.

I am also adjusting to KR as Ted but I feel that AM and MJ had way more chemistry as father and daughter than AM and KR. We saw Eva dream of having a real relationship with MJ's version of Ted for months so it's a bit of a bummer not to have that payoff with the original actor except for those scenes in MJ's last episode.  Something I noticed about Eva today is how she takes genuine delight in being a schemer. As badly as she wants to be a Richardson, she still has so much of her mom in her. It was jarring seeing her earnestly promise to steer clear of Leslie in her scene with Ted, then immediately switch attitudes when her mom showed up.  I'm very surprised with how quickly the accident story has been moving along. I was sure that it would be months if not years before people figured out it was Leslie on the motorcycle, not to mention responsible for the potassium overdose. I'm looking forward to seeing how MVJ and Guza avoid writing Leslie into a corner.  Finally, I have been loving the Articulettes story. Bonita Brisker was just the right amount of OTT - remember Sharon is supposed to be even more angry than Tracy is. If Sharon didn't come in swinging, people would say she fell flat. The way Sharon and Tracy describe the breakup is so Supremes-meet-Original Recipe Destiny's Child. I get the sense that MVJ is re-writing the Return to Love Tour as a roman a clef, and I love it. I'm looking forward to finding out what the secret they share is. If Dante Green is as shady as Berry Gordy was, it's something dark. If/when they go through with the reunion, I expect Dante to show up and claim to own the Articulettes trademark in a Lou Pearlman-esque twist.
    • Other than hanging out with Liz, all of Lucky's stories have been stalled out or dropped; the relationship with his son; his wanderlust. He hasn't been involved in any of the action/adventure or con artist stuff. I don't think he's even had a scene with Sidwell since the latter came to town. He's a real after thought. I doubt he's long for the show.
