- Rescue 911 was family awareness night! It was a hands on show, what to do in the event of an emergency! (To this day I remember do not stick your tongue on the metal part of the freezer.)

- When Unsolved Mysteries would do a story on UFO sightings or scare the pee out of you!

- When Murphy Brown made headlines and fought with VP Quale.
