According to the director of his fan club (FOVI) Vincent has signed with Y&R for another 6 months with Y&R.

Yay! Good for him. I like watching VI. I kind of wish he could go back to AMC, especially under the new writers but I like him on Y&R as well. I probably wouldn't want to go back to AMC if I were him.

I love Vincent Irizarry, but he really has no place on Y&R...

I can't say LML is running this show into the ground, but she runs SO hot and cold. Half her decisions are brilliant, and the other half are completely stupid. Is the schizophrenic Y&R better than the boring, predictable, but steady Jack Smith Y&R? I dunno...

It's great news for this David/VI fan ... now a quality David/Nikki/Victor story can really be done, in which we WILL see some character development for David! :)

Eh, I really wish he'd be written off, it's so obvious they don't know what to do with him and there's been no character development for David Chow.

Eaxcatly.

Heavens gracious - another horrendous character stinking up airtime without any character development in sight. Thanks LML!

I'm thrilled VI is staying. His character needs to be developed, but with any luck they'll do that now that he's on board for a longer time period. He's a great actor and if they write for him I know he'll deliver.

I'm so pleased for Vincent, a very nice man and a great actor.

Now I hope the show does flesh out David and give him that devil-that may-care edge we so loved on AMC. With EB going offscreen to do the cowboy film, it would be a perfect time for David to make inroads with the disenchanted Nickie. I'm still getting used to seeing him on Y&R but I do like he is working after the ignominious dismissal by AMC. David Hayward was a wonderful and interesting character.

Love your Madonna avi.

And you're right. David Chow is just wallpaper at this point.
