Ok, I think my main problem with the new Greenlee is her voice. It's soooo not Rebecca Budig's, and way too high, that its making me not like her....I'm praying that changes - I want to love this girl.

I enjoyed Colby and Julia's scenes...asking for advice and whatnot. JR is a jerk though, coercing Adam into apologizing to him.

Poor Janet - she is so lovable. I hope she sticks around. :(

I think I'm going to enjoy this Erica/Jack storyline this month...

ETA:

LOL - oh I love Adam. He just gave it back to JR - not fooled at all - and telling him he wrote him out of his will and to get the hell out! I loved that scene!

And Erica's reaction to Ava coming downstairs - realizing she slept with Sean - LOL - priceless.

Awwww - Kate Collins and MEK totally just sold me on that Janet/Tad scene. That was so sweet and sincere. After yesterday and today, I might just start liking Tad again. I hope so, he's always been a favorite character of mine, until recently.

What a wonderfully human moment between Janet and Tad just now. Subtle, kind, Old-Tadesque and Janet's reaction really made me happy. Coupled with the Adam/JR scene. WOW. Do I dare dream? Are there more glimmers of glory AMC on the horizon?

^^I think so :)

That Amanda/Janet scene was so heartbreaking too. I'm really hoping the rumors of this being Kate's last day on AMC aren't true...

That cop that carted Janet away is HOT. Get him a contract ASAP! haha ;)

Its nice to see Colby still cares about her father, even though she's upset and disappointed in him. It seems like the rest of the family is so easy to write him off and not care if he dies, but its comforting to see Colby has some form of heart and still cares about his health.

Ohhh - that Amanda/Adam scene was pretty good. We got a little glimpse of crazy Amanda - it soooo reminded me of that infamous 'powertool' scene she had with Babe back in 2005:

Anyway, I'm mostly on Adam's side in this storyline, but I do feel bad for Amanda - so I was on her side during the Adam/Amanda scenes.

Today's show is really good. Better than yesterday's, IMO. Greenlee looked like she shitted herself when Kendall said Ryan was getting married. Loved the Ryannie/Emma/Spike scenes. Spike is so cute but I think it's time they get a boy to play him now because you can really tell that little girls are playing the part.

I too loved the Janet/Tad and Janet/Amanda scenes. I felt so bad for Janet because if she had been on her meds she would have NEVER agreed with Adam and I like the fact Tad thanked her for not giving Jenny to that couple and keeping her safe.

And Amanda threatening to shock Adam's heart. "This helps save the dying. I wonder if it kills the living". It looked like Adam had a sparkle of fear in his eyes.

LMFAO YOU POSTED ADAM'S OPENING!

Anyways, I loved Janet and Tad's scene today...it actually made me feel for Tad for a change after having hated his guts for the past few weeks.

Can I say I love Amanda now???!! And Colby still calling Jenny, "our baby"? I LOVE IT!

and I may have to change my name....Not!Lee = NaVell J. Lee

Maybe my last name should be Smith till we like nuGreens

Haha - well it was the first one to pop up on my YouTube search. SMITH! Haha - I guess I'll be calling you that until we both officially like nuGreens?

Speaking of Miss Greenlee - Watch out! After hearing that Ryan is about to get married - she got this LOOK in her eyes. Girl is NOT happy. She's going to sh!t a brick when she finds out that Ryan has a daughter with Annie.

Ummmm - That last Kendall/Greenlee segment was really good. I actually felt sorry for Greenlee!!! This is a good sign for me now. And Alicia did a great job with her tears and acting in that last segment. Great work!

Add me to the list of people not liking NuGreenlee. If she had said "Kenlee" ONE MORE TIME, I was gonna scream!!! And I was PRAYING Kendall would have told Greenlee that Ryan and Annie have a daughter together. That would have really zipped the "do" right out of her "do dah".

Greenlee has been horribly miscast; not to mention poorly written thus far. I'm glad Kendall didn't embrace her with open arms.

I absolutely LOVED Adam telling JR off. That ungrateful S.O.B. doesn't deserve Adam's forgivenss. I felt so bad for Adam; he is actually a man who will not take his betrayal lying down but everyone just expects him to forgive and forget.

At least Jamie and Babe are starting to realize that Jenny's kidnapping is theirk arma. Tad, still so high on horse, still refuses to get it. Although, I appreciated how he showed some consideration for Jenny.

I know this twit isnt for real? The Greenlee onscreen today is NOT the same Greenlee that left. So she's completely over her hate for Kendall and resentment towards Ryan. I can understand that but Greenlee holds grudges. I did not expect for her to be so damn positive. Is everyone supposed to forget about her revenge to Kendall as far as Fusion went with that nasty letter calling her a baby stealing bitch? I really dont like how she's being reintroduced

The greatest tv series season finale in history.
    • Mick Savage was sooo unbearable. And more unbearable was the reaction from the female characters to him - they were acting like he is God's gift to women and sooo irresistible. To a point of unbelievable cringe.
    • Today was a short one. Only 33 minutes.  The ‘Part One’ graphic at the beginning was pretty interesting though. I didn’t expect them to do something like that.  I like how everything was focused around John and his family and friends. Again, the acting and the dialogue was very well done and well written. And I love that they were able to incorporate Drake’s, “swing for the fences” phrase into the script. It was nice seeing everyone interact with each other, especially characters who don’t often share scenes together. It felt like every character was part of a big family or community. Plus, an outdoor funeral in June makes a lot more sense than an outdoor funeral in December.  But yeah, it’s very, very strange that Will isn’t at the funeral, especially since we know that

I would much rather he had been there today. And, where’s Anna too? And Jack and Jennifer? What was the point of bringing them all back if they weren’t going to attend the funeral? I expected Steve to want to close down BlackPatch, though I’d rather he just retire and let Paul take it over. But I like that Kayla was there to comfort him. I wonder if he’s going to change his mind at some point.  It was nice seeing Shane again too. Now, he just needs to have more scenes with his son lol but I enjoyed seeing him comfort Marlena. I’m not really sure about his interaction with Cat though? Was it really necessary for this to happen now, at John’s funeral? They could’ve waited a little longer to introduce this story arc.  Btw, was Tate bleeding from his head in his first scene with Arianna?

    • Now this strikes me as funny. I have it up on my acct. The thing is I only have S2. Didn't want either 1 or 3.  Perhaps I should just list all of these that I have up.  Parodies: Dirty Sexy Money, Filthy Rich Incomplete: The Monroes, All That Glitters, Falcon Crest (have all just not all up), Once & Again S2 only Complete: Models Inc, Pasadena, Pacific Palisades, Paper Dolls, Flamingo Road
    • This is wonderful! Thank you for posting this! I loved the first two seasons and never got to see the final season when they cancelled the DVD release. I've been hoping this popped up on streaming but no luck. Happy I'll finally get to see how it ended!

    • In case it is of interest to anyone here, I have digital copies (computer files, mp4 etc.) of all of the episodes. And, besides having the files they are all up on my usual video hosting site, acct name: shallotpeel, channel it is in: Primetime Soaps and file names like  Flamingo Road S1E15 Hurricane Flamingo Road was a primetime soap on NBC by Lorimar Productions. 2 seasons. 1980-1982. Morgan Fairchild, Barbara Rush. Developed by Rita Lakin.
    • Arguably DAYS OF OUR LIVES has been brilliant lately & definitely was last week. But, here I am with nitpick & technicalities. This was the only misstep but it was just a stupid thing that should have been caught. Deidre Hall as Marlena has this one problematic line, "It didn't matter how many identities you had, I always knew exactly who you were, you were the man who saved my life." - Marlena, DAYS, 6-2-25 Unfortunately the flashback closest to it was when Marlena was on the phone, terrified because she thought he was Stefano. Yes, it's true that the line is not accurate. There were many times when she did not feel the way she is claiming because of whatever was going on in story with his 'retconned to hell & back' identity & origin story. Does it keep the whole week from being called excellent? Nope.
