I agree...I mean really does anyone buy that act? I know I wouldnt want my mom or dad to know I was a PORN star and any threat by Emily would have me stay on the straight and narrow until I got my life back together. Their relationship is really something and I like how its being shown. Definitely not a stupid or pointless scene. In fact I think it was the climax of the episode.

And oh Paul calling Alison was such a great way to end the episdoe.

I love Lucy(inda)! Elizabeth Hubbard is so good. ATWT should use her more, the way Y&R uses Jeanne Cooper. Hubbard would be good in a scene with just her and the fridge in the Snyder kitchen!

OK. We had Gwen and Cleo two days in a row. Let's hope they give them a rest tomorrow .I don't think they will. I hope we don't go the whole summer with her posing as Gwen. If they have Jade kidnap Gwen and hide her they are really going to ruin Jade for me.

The Emily and Alison scenes were unsettling to say the least. Especially knowing what Emily has been doing the past few months compared to what she was lecturing Ali about.

Elizabeth Page wrote today's script.

I finally caught up with a month's worth of shows, and since Tuesday's episode was full of all the parts of the stories I ff through (Ali's return, the latest ridiculous Gwen victimization, Meg/Paul horning into the deliciously complex Worldwide story), I'd thought I'd rate the latest stories.

1. Faith and Lily's weight issues. This was great, great stuff, and I was surprised at how much I enjoyed MB's performance. She was still pampered-to-the-point-of-self-centeredness Lily, but she was also proactive and protective of her daughter while still holding onto her denial by a mere thread. I absolutely adored the scenes in the Snyder kitchen when Lily and Faith finally opened up to each other about the harm they were doing to themselves. And Holden's later discussion with Faith in the kitchen was also amazingly deft. The little girl who plays Faith was astonishing; the moment when she raced into the kitchen and start shoving bread into her mouth to make her parents stop fighting...wow. I was in tears. Great story. Really great.

2. Even better, it flowed right into my second-favorite story, Craig steals Worldwide out from under Lily's and Lucinda's noses. Fantastic use of current and past stories, and it was truly all about family. Not the deadly dull 'Craig and Johnny' family crap we had to suffer through last year, but *Lucinda's* family. MB again did excellent work in those scenes, visibly embarrassed and ashamed of how she'd been duped and how she had betrayed her mother. And while Jeff Meek did an okay job as Craig, the moment Scott Bryce appeared on the screen, the old chemistry between him and Lucinda was back again. I remember when those two were lovers, and even though there's no hint of romance between them now, they seem to play it like they remember it too, and that's what makes them all the more vengeful toward each other. I'm really looking forward to this story, although Meg and Paul sticking their nose into it annoys me.

3. Henry and Vienna and their whirlwind romance. I think Henry may have met his match; Vienna is as silly and loyal and sweet and charming and impulsive/reckless as he is, and together they make me laugh and cry in the same scene. The buildup was obvious, yes -- I could see that he was going to dump her at the altar from miles away -- but during the journey there I really felt for both of them. There was a moment in a small scene where Vienna was talking a mile a minute about how great she thought Henry was and one of the things she said was "I treasure you". Henry interrupted her, and repeated, sounding stunned and touched and right on the cusp of believing her, "You *treasure* me?" Like he couldn't believe anyone would. That just got me. The aborted wedding made it painfully clear he's still not 100% over Katie -- or he's just afraid he doesn't deserve happiness -- but I don't think he and Vienna are done, not by a long shot. I think she could be just the woman that will get him over Katie once and for all. Regardless, I love, love, love watching them. Every moment of their scenes are unexpected and fresh.

3a. I can't believe I'm saying this, but having Jack and Katie and Brad as the supporting characters in the Henry/Vienna story finally made me like them, Brad especially. ( !!! ) I still ff over the TV station scenes, and I'm quite sure Katie's little thing with Jack will never last once Carly returns, but seeing each of them try to help Vienna and Henry, and having them make connections to their own lives through H/V, worked for me. Brad actually has had a few moments where he seemed like a real character and not just a plot device, and Austin Peck didn't actively annoy me every second he was on the screen. (I still don't see his sex appeal, but whatever.) The scene in the police station between Brad and Jack, where Brad was trying to help Jack with his relationship with Katie, literally made me laugh out loud. Nicely done, ATWT.

4. Casey heading off to jail. Casey is one of my favorite characters (even if the actor makes me cringe sometimes with his acting choices), so I'm very sad to see him go. That said, I appreciate that they're finally letting Maddie and Casey have their own relationship again outside of Gwen and Will, and that Margo and Tom are an equally big part of his departure. The whole Adam thing was a debacle, but this part of the story I find affecting. I adored that Casey returned on his own, that he's been consistent about wanting to take responsibility for his mistakes, that he's not looking for the easy way out. Even though he's going to jail, he's proving himself in the end to be their son, a Hughes through and through.

So that's what I thought was good this month.

Here are the dumb stories:

-the Adam debacle. Man, I am glad the first Adam left when he did; I would have HATED to watch him turn into such a scumbag.

-Gwen and Will continuing to be front-burner, and their stories getting more outlandish and soapy by the minute (hello, secret twin! How...different.)

-Alison/Dusty/Emily. I thought Emily's slide into prostitution was interesting and weirdly in character, but now I don't care.

-Meg and Paul. I used to like them a lot, but now I just want them to shut up.

Okay, I'm done now. :)
