Something major happens with Antonio, Jess and Nash; not sure what it is though.

Oh yes. Jamie gets hit by a car, I know that. I meant to ask, what is up with Todd this week? That is a better question.

Scotty, I could not find a place to respond to your column. I enjoyed it and agree with it 1000 percent. I think the show can lose characters and survive, they also can recast. As you know, some of my favorite characters are on the top of the monthly list and I think they are on too much also. Michael Easton, Melissa Archer, Bree Williamson, Forbes March, Kamar, Trevor St. John and REG all can use less airtime. Their being on too much is made even more painful by the fact that their storylines haven't changed in a year. They have all become boring except for the sporadic moments of entertainment. I enjoyed Jess and Nash Thursday and Friday, but I feel very confident we return now to months of the triangle from hell.

As you know, some of my favorite characters are on the top of the monthly list and I think they are on too much also. What scares me is that with REG and TSJ having time of because of contract negotiations are we going to get even more of John. I don't hate him, but he's already on too much. I'd love to see some of that airtime go to some of the vets we don't get to see as often. I'd love to see more of Roxie, Nora, Vicki, ect. I love Jash and I wouldn't mind seeing them get the same or more airtime, but it needs to be fresh. Not the same conversation over and over.

With my luck we'll be getting a lot more Starr and Cole though.

Thank you Jess......the one thing I hate about our new policy of posting all news and previews solely on the main site is that it doesn't allow for comments and feedback like it used to when we also posted them on the boards.

But thank you for you comments. They are appreciated. I was afraid I was this old foggie who only liked the vets. Glad to see I'm not the only one. I do like some of the younger characters too. I like Marcie, Michael, Rex, Starr, Langston, Miles and Matthew for example.

And you are right....ANY character can be recast. Even Viki has been recast in the past. A lot of people forget that Erika wasn't the first actress to play Viki. Several people have played Dorian over the years, at least 3 or 4 different actresses. Even Asa and Nora have been recast a time or two over the years for a few episodes when the actors were sick. So it can be done and has been done.

I am not shedding a tear over the departure of REG. I only wish she would take several others with her.

Also.....thank you Anita. I'm doing fine. Busy with homework and things, but fine.

And Jay, the big stuff this week is Jessica/Nash making love today, and then the stuff with Jamie (but the accident is a Friday/Monday thing). Also, "The View" appearance for Tate, Marcie and the high school musical auditions, and the Todd/Blair stuff in Chicago. As far as what comes next for Todd, that will be next week.

And for everyone....here's a little spoiler I caught today when watching the newest OLTL Podcast. KDP hosted and she said that on or around May 22nd she will be singing a song from her new cd on OLTL. She also mentioned that on that date the cd will be released and she will be singing one of the songs on "The View," which she will also be co-hosting that day. But we already knew that part though.

OLTL pre-empted today for ABC News coverage of Virigina Tech memorial service.

That sick a*ss pair of Dena Higley and Frank Valentini truly and seriously must drop their plans for a May sweeps Columbine like story. I know Dena and Frank have no class, but if this network has any sense whatsoever, which is questionable, they will put OLTL's butts back in the studio taping a new May stunt.

It was a [!@#$%^&*]*ty idea to begin with and now it it tasteless and way out of bounds.

I just raised this issue in the All: Pre-emptions... thread. ITA with you. I don't want to see Columbine or Virginia Tech recreated on my TV screen. Especially when its going to be horribly written and confined to that sh!t-a$$ corridor they film all the HS scenes in.

I had no idea that's what was being planned. I completely agree they need to rethink that.
