So much word to that. I can handle another K-M baby or sibling. The K-M/Slater's have so much heart and all seem to love each other for the most part and try to stay loyal. Bianca used to abide by that code, and Josh is slowly coming around.

The Chandler-Carey family always turns on each other, the Martins are hypocrites, and the Laverys well....they just suck.

Di is the only one making sense

I like that out of all the group that are willing to judge Ava and label her as a tramp, hooker, etc that she is the one making sense and begging that they all give her a chance and yes she has her issues and problems like stealing from people but hey they can help her out with that and be a productive person and we all have our faults so I say take Di's advice and support Ava and try to help her improve on herself and get rid of her bad activities. Anyone else agree with me?

Lily and Ava

Well they have finally come face to face so I say let the fireworks begin! I am loving this story already and love Ava's spunk, charisma, fire, and how full of life and energy she is and hence is another good and new character for the show. I cannot wait to see them interact and to start bonding as sisters. Anyone else here excited?

Oh my good god my tough as nails Di has returned! I friggin loved how she continued to tell off Jonathan and be the only one to stick up for Ava.

"I don't think Ava is going to try to blow up people in a cave" Preach it girl! And wasn't Kelli Giddish looking absolutely stunning today? And I always like a Dixie mention! I so hope the new writers continue to use Di in major storylines! You can certainly tell McTavish is on her way out, the women of this show finally got their backbones back! LOL They are thinking independently again and standing up for what they believe it. I really like how they seem to be balancing the stories. It is nice to have a break from the major story as we did today.

Ava and Lily on Monday will be amazing to watch. Leven is so awesome!

One other thing I'd like to mention about today, I relaly felt that scene with Barbara and Sean was needed and how it paid tribute to the rich history this show offers. McTavish seemed to forget the history of this show. Excellent scene and well acted. Bringing back Susan Pratt as Barbara was such a good move.

K, well I was gonna wait 17 days to do this, but I think I've reached a point where I need to just cut the ties to AMC fast and painless. I wanted to do this here, because AMC is my heart, and always will be. So what started with AMC, needs to end in an AMC thread, I think. I'll make it quick. LOL. Mods you can delete this, fine by me. I just wanted to say it. :)

I love SON. I love everyone here. You guys have become like a home away from home for me. This place is wonderful and always will be. Now that I know AMC is safe from MMT, and that in 17 days there will be real hope for AMC for the time in a long, I can let go and know that my show has a chance. That means more to me then anything.

Take care of Erica for me. She's special. And I'm gonna miss her so much. But I'm pretty sure, I'm leaving her in good hands.

Enjoy the show, and know that I'm rooting for AMC to be back on the top, from the sidelines somewhere. :)

Maybe one day I'll be able to join everyone in the AMC love again.

But until then, as David used to say to Erica:

Ciao Bella(s)!

^ I need to find peace with AMC. It's hard to explain, but I need to let go of Erica, and I can't do that if I'm still keeping tabs on her. It's better if I just remember her for all the reasons that made her so special to me. :) I got what I wanted and managed to get D&E away from AMC safe and protected, with a little respect, so I didn't lose everything.

I don't regret a second of my journey with Erica and AMC. And I'd do it all again in a heartbeat. And hopefully, one day, I'll come back and be able to watch Josh and not care. But until then, I gotta leave.

    • Mick Savage was sooo unbearable. And more unbearable was the reaction from the female characters to him - they were acting like he is God's gift to women and sooo irresistible. To a point of unbelievable cringe.
    • Today was a short one. Only 33 minutes.  The ‘Part One’ graphic at the beginning was pretty interesting though. I didn’t expect them to do something like that.  I like how everything was focused around John and his family and friends. Again, the acting and the dialogue was very well done and well written. And I love that they were able to incorporate Drake’s, “swing for the fences” phrase into the script. It was nice seeing everyone interact with each other, especially characters who don’t often share scenes together. It felt like every character was part of a big family or community. Plus, an outdoor funeral in June makes a lot more sense than an outdoor funeral in December.  But yeah, it’s very, very strange that Will isn’t at the funeral, especially since we know that

I would much rather he had been there today. And, where’s Anna too? And Jack and Jennifer? What was the point of bringing them all back if they weren’t going to attend the funeral? I expected Steve to want to close down BlackPatch, though I’d rather he just retire and let Paul take it over. But I like that Kayla was there to comfort him. I wonder if he’s going to change his mind at some point.  It was nice seeing Shane again too. Now, he just needs to have more scenes with his son lol but I enjoyed seeing him comfort Marlena. I’m not really sure about his interaction with Cat though? Was it really necessary for this to happen now, at John’s funeral? They could’ve waited a little longer to introduce this story arc.  Btw, was Tate bleeding from his head in his first scene with Arianna?

    • Now this strikes me as funny. I have it up on my acct. The thing is I only have S2. Didn't want either 1 or 3.  Perhaps I should just list all of these that I have up.  Parodies: Dirty Sexy Money, Filthy Rich Incomplete: The Monroes, All That Glitters, Falcon Crest (have all just not all up), Once & Again S2 only Complete: Models Inc, Pasadena, Pacific Palisades, Paper Dolls, Flamingo Road
    • This is wonderful! Thank you for posting this! I loved the first two seasons and never got to see the final season when they cancelled the DVD release. I've been hoping this popped up on streaming but no luck. Happy I'll finally get to see how it ended!

    • In case it is of interest to anyone here, I have digital copies (computer files, mp4 etc.) of all of the episodes. And, besides having the files they are all up on my usual video hosting site, acct name: shallotpeel, channel it is in: Primetime Soaps and file names like  Flamingo Road S1E15 Hurricane Flamingo Road was a primetime soap on NBC by Lorimar Productions. 2 seasons. 1980-1982. Morgan Fairchild, Barbara Rush. Developed by Rita Lakin.
    • Arguably DAYS OF OUR LIVES has been brilliant lately & definitely was last week. But, here I am with nitpick & technicalities. This was the only misstep but it was just a stupid thing that should have been caught. Deidre Hall as Marlena has this one problematic line, "It didn't matter how many identities you had, I always knew exactly who you were, you were the man who saved my life." - Marlena, DAYS, 6-2-25 Unfortunately the flashback closest to it was when Marlena was on the phone, terrified because she thought he was Stefano. Yes, it's true that the line is not accurate. There were many times when she did not feel the way she is claiming because of whatever was going on in story with his 'retconned to hell & back' identity & origin story. Does it keep the whole week from being called excellent? Nope.
