A steaming pile of crap.

Reilly was a part of one of my favorite head writing teams on Guiding Light.

Reilly allong with Nancy Curlee and Stephen Demorest followed Pam Long.

A lot of people were calling GL "Reva Light" because everything revolved around Reva and most everybody else was on backburner.

They spread the stories around,creating a balance and put Vanessa in the forefront.

I know that it wasn't all Reilly and that it was a collaberative effort but that was one of the best era's Gl experienced.

Maybe he is burnt out. I never saw his first stint at DAYS but people still rave about it.

After some time off after Passions to recharge he might just make a good HW for another show,even Y&R!!

When CBS is ready to get out of the soap business, the Hack from Hell would be the perfect person to bring in. It would not take long for Reilly to bring the ratings to zero.

JER's Y&R:

Every day, Gloria would tell Kevin that she's going to tell Jack the truth about the skin cream.

Phyllis would threaten Sharon and dial her cell phone at the end of each episode, calling Victoria. Then on Monday, she'd ask Victoria for the latest sales figures and the cycle would then repeat.

A quad would be formed with Amber/Korbel/Colleen/JT, with Amber & Korbel married and Colleen pregnant with what she thinks is JT's baby (because Amber switched the paternity tests!)

Katherine would become possessed by the devil, but nobody would notice since her voice remains the same.

BWAHAHAHAHA! Especially that last one.

And those points are why I would never want JER anywhere *near* Y&R.

I'd stop watching ASAP! As much as some complain about LML, they'd raise all sorts of hell about JER. I SHUDDER at the thought of him and a pen ANYWHERE need Y&R.

Reilly pretty much STOLE the fantastic and chilling story twists of Bell's work in the late 80s and seems to recycle it often, such as being buried alive, cages etc. The only ripoff from Bell's work I think Reilly did justice to was expanding the buried alive story when Carly was buried alive. But he had to recycle it...since then JER has also had both Sheridan and Marlena buried alive.

Y&R would ROCK!!! JER would be such a great writer for it...I'd watch everyday!!
