I just read on a website that we can't mention on here, that Drake is back working on the set of Days as of today...So we should finally see John again at the end of April...This is great news, the lack of Drake and Deidre has been a sour spot on Days lately..

I'm thinking John comes out of his coma right before or at the beginning of May sweeps..

I am beginning to think they did this in a way to save the vets for summer and the rest of the year so they can really go in a major push. I mean, all the other characters and their stories have been established pretty much. We'll see.

Maybe they will be involved in a murder mystery. It seems as though EJ's days are numbered.

I don't necessarily want EJ killed, i wouldn't want to lose James Scott...but i really want the big spring/summer storyline to dwelve into the reason's for the dimera/brady feud..that story has been needed to be told for quite sometime...

I also hope we hear news that Joseph Mascolo will be returning soon..all this EJ saving Stefano stuff has to be leading somewhere..It can't be to save a forever unseen stefano..i want the real deal back....

John/Drake isn't my favorite character, but I am happy he's back... I kinda missed him... but I am mostly happy cause this could mean we finally get more Marlena!

And hopefully, end of April/beginning of May, we get the balance back... we get FAMILY back...

I've been thinking that too recently. Save some money now by not using the vets very much....then they're able to bring them back and have them on more later and really push for more viewers. I'd actually be fine with all this if that's what they're doing.

IF this is their plan and they will use the big 4 (and others like Caroline, Victor etc) later in a big storyline, then I will forgive them. And I will hope that it really works and they get ratings back... but for now, I am still upset with the show lol

I like John because he is a strong, moral character. I do not like John used as a sex toy in J&M kiddie love scenes. Yuk. He and Marlena have brains and that's when I like to watch them, when they use their brains.

I don't think DAYS needs another come back from the dead... Either kill him or don't kill him, IMO...

I have a feeling we will get an EJ whodunit but he will be still alive and watching. It will be yet another way for him to torture people. There is just too many people out to get him now for there not to be some attempt on his life. I think that type of story can be great for getting the vets back in the mix. Plus, it follows in Stefano's footsteps. I would like EJ to become more like Stefano in that we get a break from him once in awhile, like we did when EJ went to Mexico earlier this year.

The Mexican break wasn't long enough. He was gone for barely 3 weeks and then was back appearing 5 days a week, every week. Stefano used to disappear for months on end before they resurrected him. That's what needs to happen with Elvis, assuming they don't really kill him off.
