Haha - ok Barbara is a crazy b!tch. She has it hot for Jack all of a sudden...and she called Reggie to introduce herself to him and make sure he's ok? Haha - of course Jack wouldn't like that. I can't wait for explosive Erica/Barbara scenes later today...

Kendall and Alex Sr. - man, intense scenes. It's smart of Kendall to try and seduce/manipulate Alex Sr., but I can't believe she's kissing him. Crazy!

Whoa - who's machine gun is waking up Ryan? Who is that??

No Babe/Josh again! :)

EDIT: Haha, so how does Barbara know Erica is sleeping with Jeff? Either way, did you see Erica's face when she blurted that out to Jack? Damn, about to be a girl fight!

Ok today's show so far - is ultimate soap opera. Best of the best mix in quality and storytelling.

You have suspense/intrigue with Kendall/Alex/Zach.

You have fighting and action with Tad/Ryan/cops. Ryan getting beat up and tortured...I mean it's amazing.

You have relationship drama with Erica/Jack/Barbara. Also you get a famous La Kane slap to another woman!

You have great friendship scenes with Zoe/Bianca. They are sweet and not needed, but nice to have nonetheless. It is something that many fans are upset they don't get to see more of in this century of soaps.

GREAT SHOW.

The music in the scene with Zach/Alex - freaking awesome. Great choice and something new.

Wow, loved that slap erica gave babs. Thats the second erica slap in two weeks. Babs is such a fake b!tch, I don't know how jack will even turn to her, but I'll support it if that keeps erica from jack. Since reggie was mentioned does that mean he will be returning soon????

Heh, heh..Seems Barbara is doing just what we Jerica fans want her to do. Make Erica, NUTS  I know we have a long road to go but I can deal if we get scenes like this  Oh Reggie is going to HATE Babs and it should be fun when Greens gets a load of her too  ..There are rumors out that our Reggie is coming home along with Greens. Seems the Montgomery family is not as dead as some would like folks to believe ;)

I think Erica regrets that miserable night and I can't say as I blame her after reading all the posts about it  Seems Jeffie isn't the stud he likes to think he is?]]

Thanks for the highlights. Now I can go and actually watch the show for a change.

I only saw the first half but that slap was just OMG awesome! How Erica gained back her composure after Babs asked her if she forgot something. And she goes, yes, THIS! OMG vintage Erica Kane!

Alexander Cambias and Kendall rock! Just rock! Alicia owned the show so far today. She gave it her best and totally blew me away. I always like Lish's efforts but she seemed to really put it all out there today.

Maybe the new writer(s) plan to bring back Reggie.

I would love for the new writers to bring back the Montgomery family. We got mentions of Reggie and Lily - as if they might be featured more soon.

I loved how Jeff was randomly brought in during the last segment - and Erica just royally !@#$%^&*]ed him out and then told him she doesn't have any use for him anymore, and then ordered him out! It was so great bc he barely could say anything, and then just left the episode. Go Erica!

And yes - vintage Erica Kane. Jack leaves, she walks into her house, and Barbara asks "Did you forget something?" - and Erica just stands there, regains her composure, turns around and says, "Yes....THIS" *SLAP* - and the slap throws Barbara completely around into the camera, almost hitting the camera! haha - I would love someone to post a clip of it!

    • Elements of it were silly, but it was a small price to pay to get Zas back. I should say there's a difference between in town and out of town returns. It's understandable for Roger to skulk around town in a bad wig and clown suit when he's in Springfield and running the risk of bumping in to people he knows.  Taking us out of town to find someone always has a short shelf life. Then it usually becomes about another character knowing X is alive but determined to keep them out of Springfield. Like Alan discovering Amish Reva. I don't know how long it went on, but it was probably twice as long as necessary.
    • Elizabeth Dennehy complained on the Locher Room about how ridiculous so much of the writing was for Roger's return. She laughed at so much of Roger's antics and how it was hard for her to take them seriously. Probably another reason she was fired as she didn't play the game.
    • Only thing I enjoyed was Abby / Olivia, etc., and the addiction storyline. Otherwise, I could do without the season.
    • Right? Vanessa had a ball gown for every occasion.
    • Roger's return storyline may have been silly but Roger's return was what lead to GL's last golden era.  It was the combination of Roger's return and Robert Calhoun becoming EP that got GL to finally hit it's stride after some really bad years. It will always disappoint me that the ratings during Robert Calhoun's run didn't reflect the quality of the show.
    • He also gave some of the best episodes, like the episodes surrounding Doug's death. The problem with Days was that Ron had a horrible vision from he top. I don't feel the same for MVJ and nothing that has happened in all these months suggests she doesn't have a handle on the show. Now if it becomes an issue I'll acknowledge it, but I'm not seeing it so far.
    • Jean Hackney was awful and that lead to Ben's exit story which sucked. I liked Ben/Val together. Val's love for Ben was that of a grown woman moving on with her life and Ben's love for Val made him willingly decide to raise another man's children as his own.
    • It wasn't just a GL thing, it was an 80s thing. Opulent party scenes on soaps were very big back then. Even in regular episodes where people are just going to dinner they're dressed up like they're going to see royalty.
    • Just started the May 27 episode and first thing I see is that Willow got an ugly haircut since hte last time i watched   I dont have the context for how everthing went down but I know its all Lulu's fault which make her a bish for what she did to Gio
    • I'm pretty sure he was. But point taken. GL really had a thing for masked and costumed balls/parties in the '80's. Everyone looks fabulous, but those poor costume designers.
