A few weeks ago, I would have bet that LV would get cancelled but the last 2 episodes were pretty good. NBC needs all the hits it can have. I'm just surprised that NBC renewed it since they are...you know, somewhat retarded.

If LV would have gotten cancelled, I bet ABC wouldn't only get her back on GH but they would have changed the entire concept of Night Shift so Brenda could be in it.

I just hope GH doesn't recast. VM is Brenda.

Aussiello at tvguide just broke news that James Caan and Nikki Cox wont be back next season! Too bad they didnt can Vanessa! Come home, Brenda! I watched this show its first season and still catch it from time to time, but its not the must see it used to be. I was surprised it was renewed, it must do well in the demo.

You have gotta be kidding me. Caan not back? Cox out?

WHAT DRUGS ARE THEY ON?

That blows.

I love Mike, Delinda, Sam and Danny but they can't run the entire show, IMO.

Losing Cox isn't that big of a deal, although they wasted her, IMO and her character.

Wow.

I'm shocked.

This is why I wish they didn't kill Casey. They could have brought him back to cause trouble for Sam and pair him up with Nikki Cox's Mary. Oh well, too bad there was an actual autopsy but then again they could claim Casey faked his death to go into hiding. The reason why Dean Cain didn't come back was because he wanted more money...with James Caan gone they have money now...even if they wanted a full 22 episode season.

I am glad Las Vegas is back (such a good, underrated show), but I just hope they don't go and recast Brenda. WAIT for Marcil, cos when LV is done, I think she would be back.

I do hate seeing Nikki Fox being fired, I really like her and loved Nikki!! Plus, Danny and Mary were always my favorite couple.

It really isn't going to be the same without James Cann to be honest. Cann leaving is news to me.

    • I do think there's room for optimism, especially with Amazon making enough new episodes to last until December. There's still time for the various players to get their ducks in a row. Guess we'll know soon enough!
    • I do agree it's better to just have people pop back into town. I never understood why Roger needed a mask on an island, when neither Fletcher or Alex would've known who he was. And the vine...sigh. Couldn't he have just been sent crashing through a window or something?
    • When the announcement was first made, I did wonder if other plans were in the works. I guess we can always keep hoping, especially as the show has a small core cast.
    • @chrismlAbout Lisa, agree to disagree. Actually at the time she was the only thing my partner & I disagreed about. Naturally she was Team Vicky while I was steadfast as Team Lisa.  About John & twin paternity, I think that like the 3 pillows was a transitory idea someone had that no one else agreed with. More of the attempt to accommodate Philece. About MJ, co-sign, 100% agree, if there were more degrees I would claim them. About Wally & Felicia, always a fan. Mitch? Eh, take or leave. Although I do agree that WGE is a really striking man. Who have I left out? I don't know so that's all I got.

    • Dallas peaked early, IMO. Maybe not a fair statement as I’m still making my way through the first half of its run, but I think it’s hard to argue to point that S3 into S4 was its high point. Back to Knots. Wrapping up “And Never Brought to Mind.” Greg’s introduction kinda took me by surprise. I low-key dreaded his arrival bc I know he very quickly gets to the center of the show, but even though they wasted no time connecting him with Mac, Abby, Gary, and Karen, it still feels like a gradual intro. The juxtaposition of the ending of the Chip story with the heating up Abby’s plotting is quite symbolic of the changes the show was going through. I absolutely cannot imagine Kenny and Ginger having any part in any of this. Yall, the Gary/Val piano theme that they pull out from time to time is my FAVORITE. I find myself humming it constantly.
    • Bloodshed is inevitable now. It’s another reason I’m glad Black people aren’t getting involved in these protests. As awful as this is, I keep reminding myself that 54 percent of Latino men voted for Trump. These people were put in harm’s way by members of their own communities and sometimes even members of their own families. Too many people decided to touch the stove.
    • Maybe I'm still in denial, but nothing about Neighbours' ongoing social media output gives the vibe of a show that's ending. In today's 'Roundup' video, Alan Fletcher referenced that production finishes in five weeks, but in all the show's posts the cast are as jovial and lighthearted as ever. Remarkably so for people who are about to lose their jobs.    Perhaps they're just putting a brave face on things, and I know they approached the previous axing with a positive attitude. Maybe putting an upbeat face on things is a collective way of showing potential backers that there's still life in the show? Or is it possible that they already know the show has been saved, and we'll get an announcement next month when filming wraps and the show 'rests'?   Does any of that make sense?!
    • A very good week for male eye candy on GH. New Michael is beautiful, Curtis's arms looked great in that polo shirt, Cody looks even more handsome with his new haircut AND we got Marco in swim shorts rocking his lovely bod and chest fur.

    • Yeah when Jamey Giddens did breakdowns for DAYS, he would sometimes state in tweets that specific things were his idea that he had pitched to Ron.
