Does this mean I have to for the first time in months give my FF button a break and actually watch a Babe scene. If only she was really dead and buried it would make the scene all the more special.

We should have had a party on this thread today to commemorate Babe almost dying.

LMFAO!

She seriously gets off on having women victimized and having a man come riding to their rescue. Women are not smart, strong or independent under Megan McTavish. I guess that's why we never got to see Brooke that much

Yeah I was like.... ohhhh snap, the pig got burned.

God I can't believe I defended Babe once upon a time. It took Dixie dying in her place for me to finally see the light. Sorry Skin, don't take any of this personally. I think its great you can see good in Babe. Its a hard feat, and you've mastered it.

Well I finished my tape..... wow I didn't think they'd be so graphic and violent with it. I figured we'd just see the needle come out and then that would be the end. This is the most we've seen of the killer. We actually saw his/her body and a portion of his/her face. The whole reaching out to Ryan obviously was a ruse so they'd be tied up there.

Or was Josh the one who attacked Babe in order to execute this fake out. Who knows.

I just saw the show too and was greatly disappointed. I didn't see any brutality perpetrated against Babe. The Babe propping nauseated me, but I hung in there believing she would be bludgeoned. Alas, no. Maybe i'm cold as a fish, but I didn't see the great injustice done to her.

Face Off Ryan

He is ready to do battle with the evil and demented Satin Slayer but before he goes off on his mission we have to make sure he is equipped with all his little gadgets: The Bug Eye Spray that makes his victims look like they have seen two cows milking each other, The Stun Gun that just well makes you stand still and allow Ryan to get to know the human anatomy, and the most important one of all happens to be Super Sperm to impregnate you and well it really doesn't do anything bad with the enemies so really it is of no use so why bother, eh? When you are working with the mind of a dummy like Ryan, odds are you won't come equipped with a whole lot. So will Ryan survive this Dynamite Kiddo ordeal full of castratedtopic proportions or will his little wee wee be tucked away never to come out of hiding? Only time will tell but perhaps Ryan gets a lethal injection and then his body fades away like a ghost does to his lover after a jilted night of love making that included blowfish taking dumps-Boo!

MY GOD!

WHEN WHEN WHEN WHEN will I get MY wish and finally see someone BEAT THE [!@#$%^&*] out of Kendall!?

Forgive me, but I'm a few episodes late and I didn't feel like going back and looking for old threads. The episode where the Jenkins guy mistakes her for Amelia Cambias and then everyone jumps on him because he touched her arm. Is it WRONG for me to just want to put a good 50 bullets into the [!@#$%^&*]'s head?! WHO DOES SHE THNK SHE IS!? Her !@#$%^&*] is NOT painted gold!

:P Sounds like the best AMC in ages!! Zoe is NEVER good on the show. He or she should've never brought on. He and Babe and the firing of Cady McClain and Julia Barr are some of the main reasons AMC sucks. Even killing off Babe-Ho will not get me back as a fulltime viewer.

 Me too. I stopped watching AMC after Dixie's death, but Tivo'd this episode and will definitely watch it and Monday's episode and enjoy it.

 Me too!!!

Sounds like a plan AMC Zendall Fan. AMC should do it.

JR was 100,000, 000 % RIGHT. AMC should've had the non-existent Sydney or Kwak eat the pancakes. This death for Babe is exactly what the b i t c h / ho deserves. Saying that Alexa Havins is a wonderful actress and I predict big things for her.

    • They weren't in town, but Fletcher worked at the paper (and we saw anniversary headlines for the 50th, although I don't remember if Roger was one of them), and I'd think Alex would have at least heard of him due to the damage he did to Spaulding only a few years before her return to the fold. I know I have to remember it's not real life, of course.
    • YES. The videos being uploaded to Spauldingfield are almost to the point where Alan is reintroduced. They're already talking about the guy he pretends to be, and yes, he returns at a masked ball. In fact, that masked ball is almost beat for beat the same as the masked ball where Alex was introduced! Get a new schtick. Before the Kobe era, that's pretty much what they did. Characters would just show up. Maybe other characters would talk about them for a while--the Chamberlains, Tony, Maureen, Andy, Kelly, Carrie--but then they would just appear. When Hope came back, she simply knocked on Bert's door and said something like, "Hi, Grandma, I'm home again." No particular fanfare. Sometimes it would be a bit dramatic--Jennifer and Morgan were introduced when Mike accidentally crashed into their car, for instance, and Alan and Elizabeth were introduced through Jackie's flashbacks when she was remembering giving up Phillip for adoption. Nola was involved in the Roger return. Roger's return in 1980 was very dramatic, but in a way that made total sense. He was trying to kidnap a child, so dressing up as a clown did not seem crazy. The mask bit was not only silly, it didn't even make sense. Alex never knew him, so there was no reason for him to be masked in front of her. And he didn't have to be skulking around SF for months. Again, I will cut Long a little slack--it was not her idea to bring back Roger, she was told to do it. She never wrote for the character. It was something that was not planned. They originally went to Zaslow to offer him the role of Alan. He, of course, turned them down because that was a ridiculous idea, but then he suggested coming back as Roger. At such short notice, it's not strange his return was not handled well.
    • Eh...but neither had been in town. Know the name Roger Thorpe? Sure. But Alex would have gone crazy trying to memorize all of Alan's co-conspirators/lovers/wives and Fletch didn't even know Roger/Adam was on the island, IIRC. But who knew or should've known each other is always a little dicey when people come back to town.
    • I wouldn't call Tomas' cuts a modern cut. They appear to be a slim/extreme slim cut⏤cut slimmer down the sides, with a higher armhole, which pulls up/out, depending on the fit of the person's body. Again, I feel like Ms Featherstone is buying to fit the wrong parts of the body; instead of buying to fit their widest parts (shoulders), she's buying things to fit their middle/waist (which is the easiest to ultimately fix without a complete re-cut), and it shows in the finished product. And the only reason it irks me is because I worked in suit sales for nearly ten years, and I notice these things immediately. The fashion(s) on this soap are miles ahead of three of the four others (I like the fashions from Y&R), but the tailoring is a choice, especially where the men are concerned.
    • There probably would have been a good chance they knew of him, especially with his ties to Spaulding and his being involved in so much scandal (meaning there would be plenty of photos and articles around they both would have seen), but I agree the mask was silly, clearly just a TV moment.

    • I think all the suits are fit too tight, except for Jon Lindstrom's. DC lawyers/doctors are not all LA fashion elites. Yes, maybe Tomas would have a more modern cut to his suit, but an established guy like Bill wouldn't go around looking like that lonely button on his jacket was ready to explode constantly.
    • I do think there's room for optimism, especially with Amazon making enough new episodes to last until December. There's still time for the various players to get their ducks in a row. Guess we'll know soon enough!
    • I do agree it's better to just have people pop back into town. I never understood why Roger needed a mask on an island, when neither Fletcher or Alex would've known who he was. And the vine...sigh. Couldn't he have just been sent crashing through a window or something?
    • When the announcement was first made, I did wonder if other plans were in the works. I guess we can always keep hoping, especially as the show has a small core cast.
