Did the little birdie tell you why? It seems obvious this is true especially since much of what Father Clarence (who knows all) told Dixie ("Your journey isn't over yet", etc.) and Tad (Giving him hope that things would be better and everything would be okay) makes absolutely no sense ... not that much of what he said made sense anyway even if Dixie was still alive. Why would a priest/angel encourage someone to lie about the paternity of an unborn baby in order to protect the Hobilly, her Baby Doll and Adam from being upset by spewing things about the greater good, blah blah? And I will never forgive the heartless coot for giving Kate to Julia before Dixie was even cold.

Why not? Does she have incriminating pictures of Fronsie or one of the other IIC? IMO, JHC should be the first to go followed by several script writers.

I agree and that is another reason why I have given up.

Nothing from MMT either. But remember Alexa was pimping it as a good thing and of course JHC who opened mouth and inserted feet. UGH!

It looked like he was crying. His eyes were red in those last scenes when he asked her out for a date too. It's almost like he looks more teary-eyed when he was starting to reunite with Dixie because he knew Cady had been fired than he does now after Dixie died.

I don't blame JHC for any of this. I still love her and thinks she's one of the better executive producers around. I think she is being put out there to take the blame when it really came from the higher ups (i.e. Brian Frons).

LOVED Kendall telling off Ryan! :D

I like Raymond, he's a keeper.

Was was the point of Ryan today anyways? Even Aidan knew that he wouldn't be needed, so Ryan just hangs around?:rolleyes:

Preview

Cady had to have pissed someone higher up off, cause Dixie's death was so sadistic compared to Simone and Erin's and very personal, killing Dixie off with Cady's favorite food

Getting sort of "off"-topic...

Di, today. Her anxiety during the killer talk at Wildwind was abnormal. In my opinion, it wasn't just mourning anxiety either, it was shifty-eye anxiety as well (like their was a weight on her). The way the camera sort of focused on her reacting to certain elemets of the conversation was telling. Maybe it's just a red-herring.

SPOILERISH

And don't say Tz didn't warn you come Wednesday. I was surprised nobody showed up with a memorial statue of Babe when I read the previews for that week. Heh.

After today's show I have to say that if Di is not involved somehow with the murders (and I don't think she is because of the homeless *man* spoiler), Kelli Giddish needs better direction. Throughout this whole story her acting choices in scenes have made her look very guilty and suspicious and I don't think it's part of a conscious effort by TPTB to make Di a red herring...because they aren't that smart.

I won't be watching today's show but I don't see how they could even put Di in as a red-herring as last week we saw her whisper a private vow to Dixie's coffin that they were going to catch the person who did this. All these red-herrings (Kenny, Zarf, Jenkins and now Di) are really dumb.

As far as that "spoiler", it's what everyone already knew anyway - everything is All About Babe.

From the get go Di has always been in the back of my mind as a suspect and I noticed her being uneasy too. I doubt she's the killer but it would explain why she is the one most upset about Dixie's death... she meant to get Babe.

She could just be using the whole Zach thing to throw people off.

I mean Di being the killer (as much as I would hate to lose Kelli) would be a very interesting way to end this story.....

But, alas AMC writers will not be that creative. It will be someone totally random, someone the viewers will be like that's it?

I have no confidence in this story now. None.

If I had to lose Dixie, I'd want at least a somewhat interesting reveal.... not have her die at the hands of a nobody. Di accidently killing her sister WOW. What a story, but like I said won't happen.

    • I don't, since they've clearly incorporated them into Tomas' storyline, and I happen to like his tattoos, but his jackets not fitting doesn't mean they're trying to cover his tattoos. The clothing overall isn't the issue; it's the fit. And I expect(ed) more from Jeresa Featherstone and her team. Very disappointed. He's the only male, overall, whose costume irritates me.
    • "And OMG, watching the scenes of Roger's return in comparison...the quality in the writing really nosedived. The stupid mask." Very much agreed.  Having Roger hide behind a mask for weeks/months, with it culminating with him swinging in on a vine at Blake/Phillip's wedding....geez.  So juvenile. IMO, Guiding Light never did a good job reintroducing major characters, either from the dead or elsewhere.  Masked balls = awful.  Amish = awful. When Reva was brought back from the dead, she should've just showed up in Springfield as Reva, and informed everyone that she had been gone for years because she felt like it.  She had a four-year fling with some dude who ended up dumping her due to disloyalty. Josh would be pissed and declare that their love is not *always* but *sometimes* and he'd act accordingly.  Her kids would hate her.
    • Agreed. The Emmys next year are gonna be a pretty tough competition and I hope we get a Days sweep lol  Not only does Deidre deserve a nomination for these last few weeks, but I also think Paul Telfer, Raven Bowens, Carson Boatman, Dan Feuerriegel and Alison Sweeney have good chances as well.
    • It’s not about a lack of faith and trust in MVJ, it’s about a a lack of faith and trust in Ron Carlivati, who I think can be very sneaky and manipulative when he wants to be.  And, all that “He’s just a breakdown writer” talk never changed my mind about anything, because at Days, it was “just a breakdown writer” that gave us some of the worst episodes I’ve ever seen.

    • I think they’re desperately trying to cover his awful tattoos. But anyway them being unable to style short kings properly has been a major pet peeve of mine for a while now.  I honestly don’t understand what some people expect from actors to even begin considering them for recognition. Let’s be real—awards mostly mean that an actor is respected by their peers and has some level of cultural relevance. Actual judgment on the acting itself? That’s often secondary—highly subjective and shaped by the times. I completely agree on both points. If you’re an actor or a dancer you shouldn’t get any tattoos (sorry not sorry). Tomas’ tattoos are ugly too. And regarding the couples- you’re completely right. These writers are unable to write romance.   Further comments: - Kat cannot be this dumb to keep tampering with evidence over and over again. And I’m officially not a fan of the actress—every time she’s in a scene with Leslie, she doesn’t seem intimidated at all. She plays it like comic relief, which is just too much, especially when paired with Leslie’s histrionics and over-the-top antics. Leslie is older, dangerous, and has literally been portrayed as homicidal—Kat should be at least a little scared. • I also didn’t like Kat playing damsel in distress with the hotel manager. It gave off the same weird energy as Dani with the cop. I would’ve much preferred the version Paul Raven suggested, with her sneaking in through housekeeping. • And yes, Dani again accused Hayley of faking the pregnancy—this time even specifying she might be using a pillow under her shirt. (No fake miscarriage being mentioned) I stand by my take: this is ridiculous writing. No one in the real world—except us, the chronically online soap watchers—would even think of such a conspiracy theory. Haley is no Beyoncé. • What in the world was Chelsea wearing in her hair the other day? And this whole thing with Madison is beyond cringe. Chelsea’s coming off as needy and toxic—basically like every other Dupree. • I’m glad the casino storyline is moving forward, but it’s still boring as hell. Honestly, I’d be so here for a plot twist where Vanessa and Doug take Joey out. • The direction and editing lately have been rough. Abrupt cuts, weird pacing… something just feels off overall. There’s a strange uneasiness to how it’s all coming together. • And finally: Tomas is too much of a saint. Where are the messy sluts when you need them? (Vanessa doesn’t count.)
