Members King
Well, I don't do double standards. So if I am right I plan on making you and Rion eat crow. So I hope you are ready for the feathers, as well.
Members KLN
I had a dream today about the final episode of Passions. I recall it as being lame.
Members RionPassions
That's ok. You won't be watching.
Members KLN
Why? I'll probably watch the last three weeks or so.
Members RionPassions
Why? To complain? We all know there's nothing that JER can do to please you at this point.
Members KLN
Because it's my right as a free American citizen to watch whatever the [!@#$%^&*] I want, that's why, LoL JER can do plenty to please me. It all just depends on whether or not he wants to live up to his former glory again. I'm hoping that with Passions ending, he'll give some good payoffs -- hence tuning in during the last few weeks. I think I could enjoy it quite a bit. Believe it or not, I'm going to miss the show. Well... Theresa. I'll miss Theresa Lopez-Fitzgerald. I hope like hell that she ends up on another show quickly, because Lindsay is the most talented young actress on the show, and she definitely ranks tops within the rest of daytime. I'm also going to miss JER, believe it or not. All these years, he's disappointed me, but I still had hope that he would return to his former glory. Now that JER is gone, so are those hopes. Members King
It still hasn't hit me that for the first time like 18 years (?), James E. Reilly will be UNEMPLOYED! He's had steady work in the soap bizz since like the late 80's.
Members PhoenixRising05
I agree King. What a sad decline for JER. He went from his respectable job on the GL team to his successful and acclaimed run as Days HW to what started out as a fantastic run at Passions that turned into a trainwreck. It's sad to look back at what JER is capable of and then compare it to Passions recently. You wouldn't even know it's the same writer.
Administrator Toups Posted March 6, 2007 Administrator Share Posted March 6, 2007 He's not unemployed yet. And you never what will happen later this year. I can see other soap hiring him. Possibly OLTL, AMC, ATWT or GL.
Members Mason
Just so long as he stays FAR away from ATWT and GL...
Members nassaunew
So Long, Harmony! By Deanna Barnert The countdown to PASSIONS' cancellation is on, but we're not ready to say goodbye. Here are our projections for where Harmony's locals can find new homes in daytime. http://soapoperadigest.com/features/passio.../solongharmony/ Cute article
Members JER Soaps Fan
I'm at work so I can't read the whole thing, but I read the first page, and it's VERY WELL researched, I can tell. Excellent job. I appreciate the respect and attention they gave for PASSIONS' and the other soaps' history.
Members King
I agree. It's really amazing when you stop and think about it. I can't see that happening. But stranger things have happened.
Members RionPassions
JER won't be unemployed unless he's not working on Passions when it moves to its new format, either on the internet or on cable.
