Since they didn't get rid of her at the beginning of January, the next time they can is the beginning of April! Paying someone for 6+ months for absolutely no work? And they wonder why they have no money? Carruthers clearly has no story-telling, money management or public relations skills...I wouldn't put her in charge of a McDonalds franchise, let alone a tv show. They are there for obvious reasons - it wouldn't make sense for them not to have bodyguards. They will be gone when the storyline is over. C'mon! And yet they wouldn't bring Ruth on for a day meet Josh, or greet Jeff. I guess there's no need to see Ruth's reaction to Dixie's death because as far as we know Ruth doesn't even know she was ever not dead Opal missing during the trial, does she even know about Kate? AMC needs to be way smater with their money. We could have just been told the Fusion women were always being watched. Fire Taylor Gildersleeve, fire Alec Musser, if you're never going to write a real story for Aidan, fire him! How much money did they waste on Terri Ivens for 5 years? (no offense to Terri, loved her but everyone knew she would never have a story). Susan Lucci's 9 is sickening. She must have taken a pay and weekly guarantee cut last November. Never speaks out. She is so different than her character but I almost wish she would speak up. But who knows. Susan used to have clout, would she still? Probably not.
