Members winterguy125 Posted February 1, 2007 Author Members Share Posted February 1, 2007 I agree about Emily's storyline totally, actually even though I am sick of seeing Emily so much I am really looking forward to this storyline, just because it is different, totally out of character for Emily, but I have a feeling there will be a point to all of it at the end of the storyline, if they keep up with how the story was told today, it will be a good storyline, like I said in another post great intro to the story, question as always will the payoff work for us??. I am also enjoying seeing Parker and Faith being highlighted, I would much rather watch them then Will and Gwen everyday, saying the same things and doing the same boring things, and not to mention they are killing Gwen's character and I am not happy about that at all. Also think that Mick Hazen(Parker) is an outstanding young actor, and like you said can do circles around Austin Peck. I frankly hope I never have to see Brad in scenes with Lucinda or Barbara, that would be a total embarrassment to us and the actors that play those roles. She used to be such a strong character, and now TIIC are making her weak and stupid. For Pete's sake, all Adam does is dis his brother every chance he gets, and she just stands there with that idiotic expression on her face while she soaks up all his garbage. Will/Gwen used to be my favorite couple but when Gwen was accusing Will of stealing the bonds to sabatoge her recording career? That was so wrong on so many different levels, so out of character. And then NuNuAdam had to sing a song about how it was all about him. Will sabatoged HIS career, too. Uh...excuse me? But when you first saw Gwen, you didn't want to give her the time of day, much less help her record a demo!! UGH! Where is Emma? Really?? Has anyone said anything besides "When Emma comes back.." or "Emma said..." or "Emma's gone out of town..." UGH! Jack/Vienna/Brad: boring! Brad/Vienna need to go...far far away! UGH! I wouldn't be so much against Parker's sudden rebellion, but it just came out of nowhere. I mean...yeah his dad/sister died and his mom ran off with a gigolo-like Aussie....but....in between all the deaths and his mom running off, there was no indication of him having anger built up or anything. Just...on the day Carly got arrested, he all of a sudden just blew up and the anger presented itself. UGH! Then we have Emily, out ho'in around. I really see no indication of TPTB setting it up good like some of you have claimed. She told the guy she didn't do it normally. He treated her like a washed-up porn star. Just did what he needed to release all his built-up testosterone, took a shower, and left. Again, she told the guy "You know...I don't normally do this" What does he do? Pays her 1 grand for "servicing his machine" and then bolts. What does Emily do? "Oh, this oughta be a good career to have". UGH! And Faith not eating....I'll just restate my opinion. I don't think this storyline is gonna do wonders for that poor little actress's self esteem and I sure don't think it's gonna help Martha Byrne. UGH! I don't even know why I watch this show anymore. I get plenty of good ATWT-ness out of writing my own blog and reading (James's) oakdalelover's. We have more writing talent combined (IMHO) than Jean Piss-Ant ever will!! Ain't that right, James? He has ever right to pissed off and upset. If he was all happy that would just be dumb! As to Emily I am still waiting for more of the storyline to be seen. Members winterguy125 Posted February 1, 2007 Author Members Share Posted February 1, 2007 I can answer that question for you, the actress that plays Emma is doing Theater work I believe and will be doing it for the first few months of this year, so that might explain the lack of Emma on screen, trust me though I wish she would show up because these people are making a mockery of the farm, I don't think Emma would put up with any of this crap. As for your question about why you still watch, I have the same question alot of the time. But I really think that sometime soon it will be picking up again, at least I hope so anyway. But most of the time, you build up anger over a long period of time. While Giovaani (sp?) was still in the role, he was saddened by the death of his half sister, yes. He was saddened by his father, Hal's, death as well. But it was like...one day...we see this happy go lucky kid. Next day...Parker's so full of inward anger he can't see straight. But TPTB haven't even told where "Emma" is...except for the fact she's out of town. Is she visiting a family member? Is she doing charity work somewhere?
