I see her passion but nobody is going to take you seriously when you conduct yourself in such a manner. Maybe I'm just being too uptight lol.

LOL!!!

She's flamboyant ----like a soap character!!

LOL!!! :)

I remember she said on the interview on _________ that the network nicknamed her "Kate Roberts" and "Erica Kane".

I'm just pickin' on ya, and I don't think that you are being too uptight. You have a right to feel how you want. And I do agree, you can definitely still get your point/passion across w/o acting like a complete nut....nonetheless, she seems to really have it in for Reilly...

and with that.... garcia out...

In fairness, didn't Syracuse Adams describe her as "eccentric".

I think a lot of successful people are weird or given to eccentric behavior. Maybe NUTS are what we need more of.

I don't know that like all her ideas but I can see the passion that she has for soaps. And as far as her very direct manner, maybe that is what the industry needs. They are asleep right now and they need someone to come in and kick them in butt and wake 'em up!! I don't think soaps have to be struggling. I think that new writers, new concepts, character-driven, vet-driven, and well written soaps could revive or stabilize the ratings and the genre. Those things just aren't there and so many loyal fans have been turned off. And I think it is very difficult to regain the audience after they lose trust in their shows.

I guess we will never know if her ideas would be successful or not. She will never be given a chance to be a headwriter because the networks are too chicken.

With good reason it seems.

LOL!!! Well, I certainly wouldn't want to get on her bad side!!! But if she were a man, would it sound as critical and abrasive????

She's the female [unrated] Eric Braeden.

Only in [!@#$%^&*]'s case, I'm in complete agreement.

I don't like every one of her storylines... individually, yes. But all in your face at once, it might be too much.

I'm just in love with her PASSION for the genre and her ANGER at NBC/Zucker/Reilly. Kill 'em, [!@#$%^&*]!

Dru I was feeling you on some of your initial comments, but now you're coming off

as a little TOO CONSERVATIVE.

I mean, you're the "normal" people she's talking about.

The ones who don't like to take chances, are afraid of anything that rocks the boat?

I say if a boring writer like Corrine Jacker can be given 2 years to do NOTHING at "Another World" then why

not give someone with [!@#$%^&*]'s fire a try out too?

They always give the conservative boring writers the HW gig and it's killing daytime.

I like the fact that she'd even like to head write for Passions, but I think her ideas are too realistic for Passions and would alter the show irrevocably in a bad way.

She wouldn't fit on a show like "Passions." Brad Bell, maybe... or Christian McLaughlin. Maybe Sally Suckman Morina. Or Elmo.

Far from it. And of course I'm normal.
