WTF? Beyonce didn't win because she's black? Pleeeease. I wasn't overly impresed by DreamGirls, but I know bad acting and good acting. Jennifer and Eddie exemplified "good acting." Ms. Knowles displayed just how mediocre, untalented, and horrific her "acting" is. I could see a million other girls in Beyonce's role, because that's how underwhelming she was. Hudson on the other hand was amazing, and put her heart and soul into a minor role. As soon as she entered a scene, it immediately lit up. Beyonce didn't embody the role, and all I saw was R&B singer Beyonce Knowles on screen. Now Angela Basset as Tina Turner (unfair comparison I know), THAT is becoming the character. Even if the roles were reversed, I could STILL see Beyonce coming up short, and Hudson being the victor. And let me just say if she had beat Meryl Streep, heads would fly. Could you imagine her speech? I wish the Golden Globes weren't so chicken sh.t, and NOT had nominated Beyonce. The fact that she was nominated is stupid. Thank God, the Oscars got it right.

I'm defiantly going to watch the oscars for that. In fact don't all of the songs that get nominated get sung by the artist that sings it. 3 out of the 5 songs nominated are from dreamgirls, with listen(Beyonce), I am Changing(j.hud), patience(eddie/the other dreamgirl/effie's brother). The only person from the main cast that won't be singing is Jamie Foxx unless they give him a part in patience. I really want J.hud to sing I am not going, but I kinda want her to do it on the finale of this years American Idol, and when she sings the part," an you, and you, and you, your going to love me," I want her to point to simon, paula, and randy.lol

You really don't like Ellen Dru? I thought she did a great job hosting the Grammys and the Emmys that aired right after 9/11. But I can see how her sense of humor is divisive. You either love her or loathe her.

^Her jokes aren't really LOL funny to me. But I guess they might suit the uptight Oscar crowd. Then again the ones watching, will want to be entertained (since Oscars is known to be a bore). Yet, I don't think Ellen will deliver.

IA. Some people still think of B as the woman who kicked two group members out of the group, and they see her as the new age diana ross. They believe her to be a diva, which could be true, but I don't know. Who knows what the real truth is, but if any of it is true, I'm with Team Hudson all the way. At times to me beyonce seems sweet, humble, nice and genuine in interviews but other times she seems like a diva for example at the globes with all those diva poses and writing a whole album in two weeks without telling her record label. She comes off very hot and cold, and thats why I think people probably buy into these negative beyonce stories. As I said in my first post I don't know if what that link said is true, so who knows.

Beyonce has agreed to sing with the dreamgirls on Oscar night. However, she has demanded that afterwards that she and Jennifer Hudson not be at the same after party or any photography opportunities. I doubt all of this happened. But I like both. I have always loved Beyonce. And Jennifer Hudson is damned good. To me both are very talented.
