I know, I was exaggerating, but I mean WHAT kind of poor numbers will it take for them to can Passanante? It's like none of TPTB even care that ATWT is starting to circle the drain in the ratings.

I agree it seems like no one cares. It feels like they are ruining ATWT on purpose. It just doesnt make sense that no changes have been made.

Exactly. They can't honestly think the past 6-7 months have been good.

I might be paranoid, but it almost feels like someone at P&G or some higher up told JP to start ruining the show so its ratings would be more justifiable for cancelling it when renewal comes up. But I hope to God not.

I am getting the same vibes too.

Jean Passanante is not talented enough of a writer for this to be unusual from her. She's written dark, twisted, repetitive stories on other soaps too. I don't think it's a conspiracy.

I do think people are trying to turn things around behind the scenes -- the vets have been on a little more in January, Margo especially, and certain times I get a feeling that part of the show is being ghost written.
